Saint Albert Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Sims is on the bench. Bednarek starts, presumably because of the Hoedt and Pied injuries. Long starts. McQueen is not in the squad.
Manuel Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 McCarthy, Bednarek, Stephens, Yoshida, Bertrand, Romeu, Davis ©, Ward-Prowse, Højbjerg, Boufal, Long. Bench: Forster, Targett, Lemina, Tadic, Redmond, Sims, Gabbi
Manuel Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Gabbi apparently lacking fitness according to Solent commentaters before the Palace game.
MOSaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Fulham have rested more players than we have for this game. A failure to win here would be the most embarrassing result of the season.
beatlesaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Gabbi apparently lacking fitness according to Solent commentaters before the Palace game. I wonder why that might be ?
bangkoksaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 He's desperate to win this given that side and Fulhams
Bad Wolf Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Gabbi apparently lacking fitness according to Solent commentaters before the Palace game. I wonder why!!!
fanimal Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Presumably 3 at the back and JWP as right side wing back, 2 holding and Davis and Boufal behind Long? Lots of goals in that team!!!!!!!!
shurlock Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 One recognisable attacking player besides Long. Glad to see we’re being positive.
alpine_saint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 McCarthy, Bednarek, Stephens, Yoshida, Bertrand, Romeu, Davis ©, Ward-Prowse, Højbjerg, Boufal, Long. Bench: Forster, Targett, Lemina, Tadic, Redmond, Sims, Gabbi F**k me that team looks weak.
Monk Posted 6 January, 2018 Author Posted 6 January, 2018 If Bednarek is RB, Ryan Sessegnon is going to have a field day.
skintsaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Good cup run while it lasted.........not feeling too confident on this one.
LuckyNumber7 Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Even more negative than usual, un****ingbelievable. Gabbi must be well and truly ****ed off.
Toadhall Saint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Sims is on the bench. Bednarek starts, presumably because of the Hoedt and Pied injuries. Long starts. McQueen is not in the squad. What’s up with McQueen?
Bad Wolf Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 So far from being the club that gives young talent a chance, we're now the club that packs the midfield and tries to sneak a 0-0 or 1-0 at a side in the league below. Even if we were weren't looking at relegation, the complete fear to play football is fcking embarrassing. IMO there's nothing wrong with winning games like that if it works. Which, for us, it clearly doesn't.
Useful Idiot Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 -----------------------McCarthy----------------------- JWP-----Stephens----Yoshida----Bednarek-----Bertrand Davis----------Hojbjerg---------Romeu----------Boufal -------------------------Long------------------------ I imagine we might play something like that, although I can see MP pushing Romeu deeper and possibly moving Boufal into a LWB role as he did perviously to make sure Bertrand can tuck in nice and tight and form a solid back six. MP's tactics will probably be to sit and hold for the 0-0 and hope to being them back to ours so we can repeat the tactic and hope for pens.
vectraman Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Why oh why can we not play two upfront?? Has it been banned or something by the FA? Boring, negative line up. Just typical of our manager, play it safe at a championship side, try and sneak a 1-0 or 0-0. God he doesn't learn does he?
skintsaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Bouremouth losing at home to Wigan already...
washsaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Bloody hell, yet another disjointed dull display in the first 5 minutes. What have we done wrong to be lumbered with this p***k of a manager?
BotleySaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Bloody hell, yet another disjointed dull display in the first 5 minutes. What have we done wrong to be lumbered with this p***k of a manager? Romeu was out on the wing all of a sudden there. Not sure how that happened!
SuperSAINT Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Lemina has been sold, hasn't he? I'm convinced his ankle isn't 100%
jarhead5 Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Where's Bednarek playing? Centre-back? rightback
DT Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 I'm convinced his ankle isn't 100% bloody hope so. hope it isn't that he has realised he's made a big mistake and wants out
BotleySaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Great shot on target from Long. Offside tho.
Saint Albert Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 at least Long found the back of the net! Cracking finish to be fair.
Scully Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Close! Shame long with a good finish albeit offside
B Rabbit Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 http://streamspn.com/tv/fs2 Thank you. lovely stream quality!
Saint Albert Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 I'm convinced his ankle isn't 100% More importantly, Lemina seems convinced that his ankle is not 100%. He even tweeted about it in December.
AllSorts Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 What’s up with McQueen? Played with a chest infection v Man Utd but basically nothing. Not a happy bunny I suspect after his stirling performance v the Manc’s.
BotleySaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Defense has fallen asleep a couple of times already with balls in the air. No-one tracking the runner.
Saint Albert Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Bednarek vs Sessegnon will be interesting.
DT Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 (edited) We look very nervous. Bednarek looks v poor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited 6 January, 2018 by DT
Donatello Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Because he's not on the bench? Or because he isn't ahead of Bertrand? Genuine Q. Is it not a straight battle between Targett and himself?
Bakovnetski Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Could McQueen be off?His head is in Leeds [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
washsaint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 This is horrible, utterly horrible. Defence and midfield are so disjointed and Fulham can cut through us like a hot knife through butter. Awful so far
jarhead5 Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Davis has lost us the ball every time he has touched it
Saint Albert Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Fulham enjoying a spell of possession. Saints look unconvincing.
Toadhall Saint Posted 6 January, 2018 Posted 6 January, 2018 Played with a chest infection v Man Utd but basically nothing. Not a happy bunny I suspect after his stirling performance v the Manc’s. Cheers
