twoandahalfstuds Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Afternoon all, I will be speaking to Paul Jones next week for the Saints FC Podcast and I am keen to ask him some 'Listener Questions' Let me know if you've got something you think I should ask him. Thanks!
Pilchards Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Could ask him if he had any advice for FF on crosses and stopping goals flying in from outside of the area?
ooh it's a corner Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Did he think Grobellaar intentionally let goals in whilst playing for Southampton? Has he ever been approached for a bung? Did he ever want to swear/kick a bottle of water at/wade into the supporters giving him bantz behind the goal? Which away supporters behind the goal were the best/worst? What was his career highlight?
OldNick Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 what are his memories of Dellhurst park? saints fans everywhere in the ground.
Buenos Aires Saint Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 General thoughts on the FA Cup Final (coming on for Niemi) and being the first player to do this in an FA Cup Final. Did he come close to leaving after becoming understudy to Niemi?
Suhari Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 How's his back? Which was better: saving a penalty in front of the Kop or coming on for us in the cup final?
eurosaint Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Ask him if he preferred singing 'Doo Wah Diddy Diddy' or 'The Mighty Quinn' ?? :)
Highfield Saint Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Can you ask him what the f*** is going on please
VectisSaint Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Ask him if he preferred singing 'Doo Wah Diddy Diddy' or 'The Mighty Quinn' ?? :) That would be easy to answer, as he didn't sing on Mighty Quinn. He left before it was recorded, Mike d'Abo sang it originally (I think Chris Thomson was vocalist when the Earthband recorded it live in 1978).
manzo Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 What was he thinking when the ball went in with him hanging on the crossbar at Pride Park? I know what was going through my head...
Bobbyboy Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 What did he think of Hoddle coming in to replace Dave Jones? What did the team make of that move?
Dalek2003 Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 What did he think of Hoddle coming in to replace Dave Jones? What did the team make of that move? Now I would be interested in that. Apparently Hoddle was a great manager and the players wanted him back in 2004.
CB Fry Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Would interesting to see how it felt coming to replace a pretty popular/competent keeper in Maik Taylor, especially as he was the new managers pet signing, along with poor old Lee Todd.
gandalf Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Please ask him why I haven't seen him in Tesco Bognor Regis recently.
explorer saint Posted 4 January, 2018 Posted 4 January, 2018 Best save ?? One I can remember is penalty save against Everton Milton road end think one best pen saves ever seen
