Anus I'm afraid lol.

STFU MB. Your last story about going to the docs has put me off so I'm trying to bare it :(

If true, don't leave it too long like I did. Seriously (TMS aside for a moment), don't waste your time with creams and suppositories, get them sorted ASAP.

And if you can ask for Mr Beck.

Incidentally, I had to visit the General yesterday (and I am not well this week to boot). The young fit Italian doctor lady flicked through my notes. As she's flicking through them, she stops at the page with a lovely photo of my um 'condition' and held it sideways in a comedy sort of way. I stopped trying to flirt at that point.

Anyway, Cypress, Lavender and Tea Tree, apply with care.

What time do they open?

lol.

I've found they tend to open at 8am and all the appointments have gone by 8:02. So you have to get through on the phone between 8:00:00 and 8:01:59. Thanks for reminding me I need to book an appointment to sort out my ears and get the jabs for holiday. I might have a laugh and phone them now to see if they have anything available.

Here's a laugh... they said they can do me an appointment fine but I'd have to go in tomorrow morning to fill in a form for what I want and they'll make me an appointment while i'm there. I said that sounded like far too much work for something that should be simple, so they gave me the number of somewhere who said "would you like it done today". Much better and I will now be having it done tomorrow morning because i'm working tonight. It means i'm going to be in southampton 3 times in less than a week though! I'm not impressed at having to put olive oil in my ears 4 times a day between tomorrow and wednesday though - seems a bit excessive!

I suggest you need more than 2 days with the oil. Danger of getting the eardrum sucked out.

Between tomorrow and wednesday - 5 and a half days? I've never had this done before (i'm assuming that's why I can't hear anything). Does it hurt then? I've just looked at the prices of the jabs and that will be a large pain to my purse. I don't fancy hurtey ears too! :(

...roll on holiday time

Ah, sorry - 5 days is plenty. It doesn't hurt if you've done the oil in fact it's quite relaxing and you get super spider hearing afterwards!!!

Raymond road surgery. I didn't have to fight at all. I just phoned and said "I need my ears done". All she said was I had to put the oil in my ears between now and the appointment and they could fit me in wednesday. I think your doctor is making stuff up. Although, tbf, i'm pretty sure it's the nurse who does it rather than the doctor.

Was that the nurse? Shes done mine a couple of times and it didn't work. I went to the private bupa place for an unrelated issue and happened to mention my ears. the bloke had a quick look with something that looked like tweezers and just plucked all the wax out like a plug. It was fantastic afterwards like I could suddenly hear again after six months.
