LeBizzier69 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Beaten by pace, power, more direct football. At 1-1 clearly only going to be one winner. Very worrying and god awful weather to boot.
bazza Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Wanted MP gone weeks ago. Now I want REED and KRUGER OUT too! We are sleepwalking our way to the championship with our glorious hoerarchy in****ING denial! Exactly my thoughts too, 100 percent. We've only seven home games left. Four are against Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool & City. We're screwed.
Pamplemousse Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Get a new manager in and we can beat Watford in the next league game. They're in bad form and in complete free fall.
austsaint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Looks like we could well be going down, mental considering the squad we've got. Abysmal manager. People keep saying that...."considering the squad we've got", but Redmond, Tadic, Long, Ward-Prowse v Benteke, Zaha, Townsend and Sako. In an attacking sense we were vastly inferior, with only our full backs (and Boufal) providing any width and run.
Portugalsaint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Did anyone see the supporters on the pitch?
Norm Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Get a new manager in and we can beat Watford in the next league game. They're in bad form and in complete free fall. Not so sure we will beat Watford.
doddisalegend Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Exactly my thoughts too, 100 percent. We've only seven home games left. Four are against Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool & City. We're screwed. Not really sure why home games are relevant its hardly fortress SMS..
Badger Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Get a new manager in and we can beat Watford in the next league game. They're in bad form and in complete free fall. Expect they see it in the same light.
simo Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Did anyone see the supporters on the pitch? Did they throw season tickets heading for the directors box ?
adrian lord Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Utter incompetence has led us from being "best outside the Big Six" to staring relegation in the face.
Portugalsaint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Did they throw season tickets heading for the directors box ? Apparently they had a go at the players, Bertrand was mentioned
doddisalegend Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 People keep saying that...."considering the squad we've got", but Redmond, Tadic, Long, Ward-Prowse v Benteke, Zaha, Townsend and Sako. In an attacking sense we were vastly inferior, with only our full backs (and Boufal) providing any width and run. Our attack was clearly lacking last season it was obvious and yet we did nothing to improve it last summer now our defence has lost its way so its no surprise we are were we are.
OldNick Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 The club wont take any action until the ire is pointed at Reed and co
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 which bit? The spend money and bounce back bit. Our club structure and business model just won't allow it.
Winnersaint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Well, that was a brief interview with MP!! Please elaborate.
RedWillie Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Quite incredible, the management of the whole club are incompetent, are out of touch with fans and now reaping what they have been sowing for last few years. I thought we were a model club but I don’t think anyone knows what to do . Chaos reigns Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
stknowle Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 I've been supporting Saints since 1984 and I've never seen a manager so terrifyingly out of his depth. He's a tactically inept, frog-eyed buffoon. Unless he goes tonight, we are down. I don't think there is a single fan who wouldn't agree which is why it's all the more baffling and infuriating they haven't/won't pull the trigger. It's as if they are pompously refusing to accept they've ****ed up despite all the irrefutably obvious evidence that they have.
tobes8 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 This makes Krugers deluded ramblings sound even worse....kruger is an absolute loon If he thinks pellegrino is doing a great job. He's a total ****. As for the match it was plainly obvious that we were loosing the midfield and pellegrino didn't react to it. No idea what he's watching or his coaching staff are watching. Palace deserved that. I feel relegation is becoming more of a reality than a possibility. We should have reacted after the Leicester match but once again les reed has shown his incompetence dithering.
doddisalegend Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 The spend money and bounce back bit. Our club structure and business model just won't allow it. 90k on the new Ricardo Fuller it is then.....
Shroppie Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 I am as angry as I've ever been as a Saints fan. A good first half, goal, control. But when they reacted and came at us, our manager showed utter lack of game management. If we're going to hang on, why no Lemina? Davis for JWP does nothing. And taking Hojbjerg off??!!!!! Clueless. I'm sorry for the team. They put a lot into that first half but were totally let down by an incompetent manager. He has to go. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
GarrettIvo Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Puel out. Oh wait I mean Eric Black out. Oh wait.
LuckyNumber7 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Please get rid of this negative, clueless clown whilst our season is still salvageable. Sick of seeing constant backwards passing and players giving the 'slow it down' gesture all the time, Pied even did it to a ballboy early in the second half for him daring to try and hurry things up. It's like any form of positivity or excitement is forbidden at SMS. Absolutely awful to watch. Aside from Long's ballooned shot I can barely remember us getting near their goal in the second half. He surely has to go now.
saint1977 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 The club wont take any action until the ire is pointed at Reed and co Yep
Ohio Saint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Please elaborate. The Solent interview was just very short. Turns out he just had a more important interview to do. Nothing to it in the end.
Crab Lungs Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Apparently they had a go at the players, Bertrand was mentioned He’s probably more f()cked off than us. Morons, having a pop at someone we will really need
Give it to Ron Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 This... a case of careful what you wish for...Who wished for Pellegrino? Still at least some arrogant cocks can say I told you so thats all that matters Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
SuperSAINT Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Palace f*cked up the FdB appointment, but at least they addressed it almost immediately. Our loyalty to MP is admirable, but will likely cost us. Recruitment (both players & staff) has gone down hill.
Ohio Saint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Apparently, Ronald McDonald is not managing a team at the moment. I'm hopeful.
doddisalegend Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Who wished for Pellegrino? Still at least some arrogant cocks can say I told you so thats all that matters Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk who did you think we'd get some big name?
saint1977 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 He’s probably more f()cked off than us. Morons, having a pop at someone we will really need Turn the ire on Reed, make home games an ordeal for him and pure hate for MP
Chez Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 People keep saying that...."considering the squad we've got", but Redmond, Tadic, Long, Ward-Prowse v Benteke, Zaha, Townsend and Sako. In an attacking sense we were vastly inferior, with only our full backs (and Boufal) providing any width and run. I'm with you. Almost every post on here focuses on MP, with the odd mention of Reed and Krueger. The players get a complete pass. That cant be right. It's a squad full of mediocrity. Massive trouble.
CB Fry Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Puel out. Oh wait I mean Eric Black out. Oh wait. The Black-out bounce will be any game now.
Winnersaint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 The Solent interview was just very short. Turns out he just had a more important interview to do. Nothing to it in the end. Thanks.
doddisalegend Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Turn the ire on Reed, make home games an ordeal for him and pure hate for MP No one cares enough at SMS to do that mostly its just apathy and tourists now
Crab Lungs Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 The Black-out bounce will be any game now. lol.
Pamplemousse Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 I'm with you. Almost every post on here focuses on MP, with the odd mention of Reed and Krueger. The players get a complete pass. That cant be right. It's a squad full of mediocrity. Massive trouble. Unfortunately there are still some who think we have a good squad. We don't. We had an excellent manager last season who got the best out of them. Now we have a terrible manager who can't match that. New manager needed and new players.
Toon Saint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 The Solent interview was just very short. Turns out he just had a more important interview to do. Nothing to it in the end. Hopefully he's being scheduled in at at the job centre.
OldNick Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 who did you think we'd get some big name?you are shouting at the wind. The anti Puel fans will always say , we wanted him gone but not for MP, but at the time it was anyone but CP. CP was let down by the board as they sold all the goals. The fans have now been let down as they are not acting
saint1977 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 No one cares enough at SMS to do that mostly its just apathy and tourists now Sad but true, and past experience says 30 percent won’t be there next season. Club never learns from history.
Special K Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Feels a bit rudderless at present. Very much like the signs around the Club when we went down in 2005. Think it is pretty likely now, if not this season, then next.
aintforever Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Not really sure why home games are relevant its hardly fortress SMS.. Because getting points away from home anywhere is tough in this league.
CanadaSaint Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Out-fought in sapping conditions by a team that played two days ago. Out-managed by Roy Hodgson. I'm normally an optimist but those are terminal failings.
doddisalegend Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 I'm with you. Almost every post on here focuses on MP, with the odd mention of Reed and Krueger. The players get a complete pass. That cant be right. It's a squad full of mediocrity. Massive trouble. yep it was obvious we'd jumped the shark on squad recruitment the summer Puel came in we could have tried to put right this summer but we didn't and now we are in big trouble the squad is full of average dross.
Badger Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 I'm with you. Almost every post on here focuses on MP, with the odd mention of Reed and Krueger. The players get a complete pass. That cant be right. It's a squad full of mediocrity. Massive trouble. It is mediocre overall, and poor in some areas (GK), but some mediocre squads effective if organised, we are not. That rests with the manager and his coaching staff.
whelk Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Fcking hate football. Can we never kill anyone off ever. Useless cnts
OldNick Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 I'm with you. Almost every post on here focuses on MP, with the odd mention of Reed and Krueger. The players get a complete pass. That cant be right. It's a squad full of mediocrity. Massive trouble.Turning on the players is the last thing we need
Suhari Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 The Solent interview was just very short. Turns out he just had a more important interview to do. Nothing to it in the end. What would be a more important interview? Strange.
tobes8 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 Next home game isn't until the 21st, live on Sky against Spurs Sod that...I'm going fishing.
patred44 Posted 2 January, 2018 Posted 2 January, 2018 If there is no manager available, would we except the inexperienced KD as caretaker manager until one becomes available
