Virgil van Dijk: I am glad to leave this club. It was just a stepping stone and I enjoyed being payed whilst refusing to play. F*ck the club and the fans, I am off to make some more money.

Hojbjerg: I really want to succeed and always give 100% whilst playing. Sadly this clueless manager puts me on the bench every time I have a good game.

Long : I'm not the most talented player and I haven't scored for a while. However I will run all day for the side, never complain and give a 100% all of the time. It would be nice if sometimes the supporters appreciated that because I work with some players with massive egos who don't come close to my professionalism.

Never going to happen.

One thing's for sure, players want to play. The incessant rotation does not lead to a happy squad. If you're winning and in europe, it's somewhat justified, but the non-top 6 sides doing well always have a consistent core team.

We did under Pochetinno and largely under Koeman. Leicester did winning the league, Burnley do this season, Liverpool did the season they were 2nd, Chelsea did winning it last year.

Consistency and team spirit are a million times more important than endless new signings.

It is bs though and made to suit whatever the narrative is. Klopp gets pelters when they rest Coutinho or Mane and draw. When Conte puts same side out and don’t win people say needs to rest some and bring in fresh players. Liverpool now playing brilliantly and no one mentioning resting players was the wrong thing to do but no doubt will assume energy levels would be same as if no rotation. Just saying I don’t think there is a right or wrong.
