stknowle Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Yes Yes YEAAAAHHHHHH!!!! GTFI!!!!!! We can still do this.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Really, if I was to say 17th would I be classified as a clapper? Filter stops what you are classed as
Saint_clark Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 See what happens when you're direct and take your passes/shots early... Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
Dalek2003 Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 This has been coming for weeks. Yess !!!!!!
Monk Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Pellegrino is just another useless cog in this useless machine. Once he's gone, we still have: Watson Forster Redmond Wilson VVD (although not for long) and the one to ultimately blame... Les Reed.
DT Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 I had Kane to score first and any other score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SaintRobbie Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 I’d put Boufal as striker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
S-Clarke Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 The squad we have is so lopsided, we have some good players - undoubtably - but some huge holes right down the spine of the team which haven't been addressed. CB, CM, AMC/ST. All area's which are currently short on quality, pace and power. As people have said, in this league you need pace/strength and power. We don't have any of that in midfield apart from Romeu, and even he looks off it. In attack we simply have nothing, absolutley nothing. We can't mix it as we have no focal point, we can't get in behind as we have no pace, we can't build through the middle as we have no number 10. There are good elements to this squad but some glaring holes that a competent manager should be able to resolve/see. It could be that Les is going to allow MP to re-invest in January to plug those holes, but particulary over the last month or so all I've seen is our current players regress and no genuine attempt to impose any sort of playing style. We really are a bit of a non-team and I'm not sure I'd be happy to have his input in a £60m reinvestment spree.
austsaint Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 The new Manager has to play Boufal week in, week out.
James Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Decent strike that from Boufal. Kind of funny that we score the second Redmond goes off.
DT Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 The only thing that will make any difference in the relegation shake up is getting shot of this clown manager as quickly as possible. If we need to sacrifice a minus 2 goal difference to achieve that ahead of a winnable game against Palace its got to be worth it. Here's a thought. We won't beat palace. We won't. We're not as good as them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Oh great. And now even my lucrative bet has gone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Every cloud
James Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Here's a thought. We won't beat palace. We won't. We're not as good as them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I agree that we certainly won't under Pellegrino. We might under a new manager with the "new manager bounce".
Saint_clark Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 If Kane gets four here that's 40 in a calendar year for him. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
S-Clarke Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Decent strike that from Boufal. Kind of funny that we score the second Redmond goes off. We never win with Redmond, our biggest win against Everton came when he was benched. It's either coaching or the fact that he is an absolutley awful player, probably a mixture of both to be honest. He should be nothing more than a squad filler, but the sad fact is that he clearly came in to replace Mane's pace.
obelisk Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Give the ball away again. Powder puff challenge. 5-1.
shurlock Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 (edited) Forster moving away from goal to open up the angle hahahaha Edited 26 December, 2017 by shurlock
beatlesaint Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Yoshida really is ****e. not alone though is he?
DT Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 6 should do it, surely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
doggface Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Really, if I was to say 17th would I be classified as a clapper? Just **** off you odious turd, you make this place fun for no one
Whitey Grandad Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Yoshida really is ****e. Kane v Yoshida is blatant cruelty. There should be laws against it.
aintforever Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 All Kane had to do was carry on running with the ball, wait for Yoshidas pathetic lunge and watch our keeper jump out the way.
Jonnyboy Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 If we keep playing like this I might have to reconsider my stance that we’re not going down. We won’t get anything at Man Utd but Palace is a massive game You really thought Spurs wouldn't hammer us?!!
Saints foreva Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 not alone though is he? Nope but a guaranteed starter despite Pochettino and Koeman deeming him very much 3rd choice while they were managers...
LGTL Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Yoshida really is ****e. No no no no no no no, you're not allowed to criticise the useless **** on here.
nta786 Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 So is this game now our worst defeat since that 6-1 against Arsenal in our first season back where we had players like Dannny Fox, Hooiveld and Kelvin Davis
Pamplemousse Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 I wonder if Man City will order us to play VVD against Man Utd
Micky Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Tottenham playing some great stuff. Would happily lose 7-0 if it gets rid of Pellegrino this evening. And yes... what a sad state of affairs it has becomeThey will easily score more than seven today. I fear we are going into the record books today for all the wrong reasons. Saint Billy Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 6 should do it, surely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Agree, no more than 6, we don't want to be humiliated
James Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 'keeper' Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The equivalent of having to chip it over a bag of spuds. Awful.
S-Clarke Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Nope but a guaranteed starter despite Pochettino and Koeman deeming him very much 3rd choice while they were managers... To be fair, Puel and MPe have had their leading CB's sold from under them with no replacements inbound (other than dross like Bedranek). I still don't think Yoshida is our biggest issue, I know there are some who seemingly hate the bloke, but there are much bigger issues with our squad than Maya.
Whitey Grandad Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 You really thought Spurs wouldn't hammer us?!! I expected 4 or 5 against us but this is painful. It’s like watch a loved one fade away.
Saints foreva Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Poster boy for the academy JWP is coming on. Wonderful.
James Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Ah JWP on - that will make all the difference here.
aintforever Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Don’t worry, James Ward Prowse is coming on to save the day.
Pamplemousse Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 To be fair, Puel and MPe have had their leading CB's sold from under them with no replacements inbound (other than dross like Bedranek). I still don't think Yoshida is our biggest issue, I know there are some who seemingly hate the bloke, but there are much bigger issues with our squad than Maya. He and Stephens were magnificent at Anfield for that 0-1. Under a good manager like Puel he’s not that bad
Saints foreva Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Shane Long is scared to go towards the ball. 6th spurs goal coming.
Pamplemousse Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Great tackle by Targett. He’s been the best player
