beavis17 Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Anybody who thinks Gabbi is up to playing today,Sat & then again on Tuesday is deluded. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk He’s barely played the last few weeks so why can’t he start three games in a row and play 70 minutes in each?
CB Fry Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Kane has scored 47 goals in the time since Shane Long last scored a goal. Brilliant.
davefoggy Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Did anyone understand a single word our manger just said?
Saints foreva Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Kane has scored 47 goals in the time since Shane Long last scored a goal. Brilliant. But but but he tries hard. Unbelievable that the ****house Redmond starts once more. He wouldn't be a guaranteed starter at any other club in this league.
Saint-Beer Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Good to see Boufal back in. Hope he makes a statement. Got a feeling we could do ok today. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
davefoggy Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Kane has scored 47 goals in the time since Shane Long last scored a goal. Brilliant. So its all set up for Saints win, 1-0, Shane Long
badgerx16 Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Just going out to give the dogs a run on the beach. I expect to be back at about 3 - 0.
stknowle Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Kane has scored 47 goals in the time since Shane Long last scored a goal. Brilliant. You'll find finely balanced head to head comparisons like this throughout today's starting line ups. As another example there is barely a fag paper's width of difference in quality between Lloris and Forster.
Wes Tender Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Another chance missed to play five at the back by using Pied as RB with three CBS and two up front, Gabbiadini and Long. At least we have the most solid middle three with Lemina, Hojbjerg and Romeo. It seems that Van-Dijk is definitely off, as why otherwise wouldn't you play him? I just hope that we don't sell him to Scousehampton. God knows where the goals will come from us, but we do have some pace, provided that the ball gets that far upfield.
WALK DMC Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Just to clarify, it's boxing day and only 2 of our starting 11 have scored this season. Is that some kind of record??? Isn't it three players ? Boufal - WBA Yoshida - Stoke Romeo - Man City Regards

Manuel Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Actually hoping this might be the game Boufal goes nuts and gets a couple.
bazza Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 In New York & can't see the game so relying on you chaps for your insightful match thread updates!
poohdini Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 I feel irrationally confident about this game.
5string Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Long & Redmond using their speed to win an early free kick on the left. Cleared by keeper's punch. Saints in attack! wooh.
5string Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Forster punches a Spurs corner clear, but where Lloris punched his beyond the 18 yard box, Forster's landed just outside the 6 yard box. Oh Jeez, more dodgy defending/keeping. Spurs in attack here...
obelisk Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 If we keep giving the ball away like this we're in for a thumping.
Pamplemousse Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Bloody hell We have a corner though...
5string Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Something I've noticed from the first 6 minutes: When Spurs have the ball [in midfield] they know instinctively where their team mates are; When we have it, we spend 2-3 seconds looking to see where our team mates are. What on earth are we doing in training?? Er, that was close... again.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Playing like strangers. Either the players have been coached badly or the players have given up. Either way, grounds for change.
DT Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 I was offered a ticket for this game by a spurs supporting mate. And it's on telly. So I've escaped to Halfords to fix my car instead Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
5string Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 So frustrating! We have the ball in their half - go backwards. Go wide. Ball up the line goes out. Grrr!
Colinjb Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Pleased to see Romeu, Lamina and Hojbjerg in the same side.
adrian lord Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Alli “natural reaction” to elbow opponent in the face....
5string Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Alli at it again Yep, saw that. Nice elbow to the neck/face.
shurlock Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Targett is such a bumpkin; but he's our bumpkin.
Bad Wolf Posted 26 December, 2017 Posted 26 December, 2017 Targett is such a bumpkin; but he's our bumpkin. I can't see how anyone rates him above McQueen.
