Jeff Le Taxi Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Just about to sign an extension too )-: hope its a quick recovery
Chez Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 he's out of contract in the summer as well I think? Has he done enough to get a new deal?
Chez Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Just about to sign an extension too )-: hope its a quick recovery you answered my question as I typed my question. I assume the deal will still go through.
Jeff Le Taxi Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 he's out of contract in the summer as well I think? Has he done enough to get a new deal? HAT TRICK !! for the reserves, successful loan spell at Shrewsbury who didnt want to let him go, comitted Saints fan! I know what I think!
Andy_Porter Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 he's out of contract in the summer as well I think? Has he done enough to get a new deal? Yes... Was great against Derby imo, certainly showed he had potential.
JustMike Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 ahhh thats sucks!!! hope he gets better soon
ottery st mary Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Speedy recovery, Whitey, you are a great young player and you will still make it to the top. You will come back stronger and better...Keep your chin up and fight your way back to the first team....Contract without fail.
Give it to Ron Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Sounded horrible hearing him cry out in pain - went off with oxygen mask but from what I heard they think its a small fracture and no ligament damage according to his mate there. Nowhere near as bad as the horrific Craig Richards one I witnessed a while ago so hopefully he will come back strong. Speedy recovery Jamie.
Saint_clark Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 HAT TRICK !! for the reserves, successful loan spell at Shrewsbury who didnt want to let him go, comitted Saints fan! I know what I think! Shrewsbury didn't want to let him go? Their fans had a massively different opinion.
Colinjb Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Shrewsbury didn't want to let him go? Their fans had a massively different opinion. Link.....
Saint_clark Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Link..... http://blueandamber.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=55169 OK only three people, when I read it it was a new thread and I thought more would have posted since.
a1ex2001 Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Thats two very badly timed injuries for the lad, got to feel for him. It's not going to help his development any but he's easily shown enough potential to be worth a new deal he looks to be one of the most skillfull players we've produced in a long time and also knows where the goal is which is something some of the others seem to lack.
saint1977 Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Hasn't had much luck poor lad. Get well soon.
krissyboy31 Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Really bad luck for the lad, especially as it looked like he might have featured in the first-team over the next couple of months. We definately need to get a striker in on loan now!
SaintKenny Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Broke bone in two places and dislocated the ankle bone apparently, op this afternoon
paulwantsapint Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Bad luck for the boy Club should at least offer him short term contract to prove himself worthy of longer term if not back before may
Michelle Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Saw it happen, wasn't pretty. Poor guy was in absolute agony, I bet he was samn grateful of the oxygen - we could actually hear him breathing it in from the half way line, when he was down by the goal! Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
