Batman Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Hope so, because my cousin plays for them so it would be a family affair. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Alanh Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 In the rehearsal draw we got Arsenal away. Hopefully it doesn't happen again in the real thing.
Batman Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 3rd Round draw highlights....... Liverpool v Everton Brighton v Palace Coventry v Stoke Newport v Leeds Forest v Arsenal this is not looking good, still in there with the big boys!!!!!!!!!! Boro v Sunderland Man City v Burnley Shrewsbury v West Ham Wolves v Swansea Newcastle v Luton Fulham v SAINTS Norwich v Chelsea decent draws there.
Batman Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 what are the bets Man United v Derby is on telly...when it should be no where near it
Saints foreva Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Winnable and we should take a fair few.
trousers Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 We will get an uninspiring game vs a mid-table premier league or mid-table championship team. This
shurlock Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Meh. They’re not as strong as last season; not a gimme but should be comfortable enough.
alehouseboys Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Just the job. Short trip, great day out with loads of decent pubs around and about, should get the whole end 5-6k.
Saint_clark Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Haven't we played them twice this season in behind closed doors friendlies? Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
Saint Billy Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Presumably we will be fielding the red n white embryos.
DuncanRG Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Never managed to get to Craven Cottage so quite pleased with that.
alehouseboys Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Never managed to get to Craven Cottage so quite pleased with that. The first time I went there was on a Friday night back in the promotion year of 1978 in the old second division. Well, me and 10,000 other Southampton fans. 1-1 that day.
Give it to Ron Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 One of my favourite away days that 3-0 win Lambert to Jayrod cracker was right in line in from minute left his foot. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
angelman Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Never managed to get to Craven Cottage so quite pleased with that. Used to live 10 mins walk from there. Always found it to be a nice traditional ground, and a club with nice fans.
Saint-scooby Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Away supporters at 15% =3855 Be a good day out, if the trains are working .
mrfahaji Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 I'll take that, walking distance (admittedly, quite a long walk) from my house, hopefully I get can a ticket. Went to see Fulham-Hull earlier in the season, Fulham looked decent at times but nothing particularly special, think they missed Cairney, not sure if he's back for them yet. They have the neutral end next to the away fans for league games, imagine it's no different for the cup - last time Saints fans bought up most of the neutral tickets and it felt like we had the whole end for the 0-3 match - what a day that was!

aintforever Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Not the easiest of ties considering we’re bound to play the reserves. Could be a good day out tho.
Lets B Avenue Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Away supporters at 15% =3855 Be a good day out, if the trains are working . Spurs were given 4000 in the FA Cup last season.
davefoggy Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 good draw, a ground I have not been to yet. Is the Michael Jackson statue still there?
Suhari Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 good draw, a ground I have not been to yet. Is the Michael Jackson statue still there? Think it's gone. Game could be a Thriller though.
Lets B Avenue Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Think it's gone. Game could be a Thriller though. Do you want to be starting something?
teamsaint Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Do you want to be starting something? Perhaps we will win with a free kick deflected Off the wall.
Nordic Saint Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 The first time I went there was on a Friday night back in the promotion year of 1978 in the old second division. Well, me and 10,000 other Southampton fans. 1-1 that day. I was there too. We had great away support in those days, often bigger than the home team's as it was at Fulham that day. We took 13,000 to Forest the season before.
aintforever Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Perhaps we will win with a free kick deflected Off the wall. Oh dear, that’s bad.
Verbal Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 good draw, a ground I have not been to yet. Is the Michael Jackson statue still there? Yes, but he looks the spitting image of George Cohen now.
Big Ron fan Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 The first time I went there was on a Friday night back in the promotion year of 1978 in the old second division. Well, me and 10,000 other Southampton fans. 1-1 that day. My main memory of the evening is Bally and Peter Storey (old Arsenal teammates) kicking lumps out of each other
Hamilton Saint Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Perhaps we will win with a free kick deflected Off the wall. Of course: no one wants to be defeated.
Badger Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 The first time I went there was on a Friday night back in the promotion year of 1978 in the old second division. Well, me and 10,000 other Southampton fans. 1-1 that day. Remember that night. Tony Funnell scored for us if I recall. Good atmosphere with the travelling support.
Yorkshire Saint Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Think it's gone. Game could be a Thriller though. Really ? Beat it
Pilchards Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Really ? Beat it Fulham will probably wear black or white?
LVSaint Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Fulham will probably wear black or white? Anyone planning a sleepover in London?
SaintAndy14 Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Fulham will probably wear black or white? Will they want to make a change to their kit?
mrfahaji Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Will they want to make a change to their kit? I'm hoping to go to the game. Will you be there?
Lighthouse Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Hopefully the players will put on a good show, for you and for me and the entire human race.
HedgeEnder Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Hopefully the players will put on a good show, for you and for me and the entire human race. Yeah, one day in your life maybe
UpweySaint Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Yeah, one day in your life maybe These puns could get tiresome but don't stop till you get enough ... In all seriousness, always fancied Craven Cottage, hopefully we get plenty of tickets or the neutral section may well be an option!
Lets B Avenue Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Before the tie, we should buy back that midfielder we sold to MK Dons. Now at Charlton. Reeves?
Suhari Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Easy win this. As easy as holding a baby over a balcony.
Saint86 Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Tough one for us. I hope we do better then the league cup. Sadly I suspect we'll half arse it and lose :/
Globetrotter Posted 4 December, 2017 Posted 4 December, 2017 Hopefully the players will put on a good show, for you and for me and the entire human race. You are not alone in thinking that. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
scotty Posted 5 December, 2017 Posted 5 December, 2017 Will they want to make a change to their kit? You know, their kit used to be black until that statue went up. But the fans didn't care because they're mostly plastics.
JRM Posted 5 December, 2017 Posted 5 December, 2017 Spurs were given 4000 in the FA Cup last season. If demand is there Fulham generally allow the away team to have the whole end behind the goal and don't bother with a neutral section. If tickets are cheap I think we'll take a lot, although we do have 3000 going to Chelsea and Spurs in the next few weeks and tickets made it down to anyone on the database for those so not sure we'd take much more to Fulham.
