I think we'll hobble on through, with our proximity to the bottom three largely dependent on how many of the really bad teams can turn things around. Our fixtures probably are the toughest but we've got a deeper squad than most down there and should benefit from a few of the big boys resting players.

Good answer, how important is a win against the cherries Saturday?

Important not to lose, but the home games against Leicester and Huddersfield are much bigger. Drop points there and there's more pressure to perform at the big away grounds.

Not important, however a win against the Cherries on Sunday is.

5 more points puts us on 21 points after 21 games, a point per game average over the season gets us to that 38 point mark. However I do think we'll fare better against the "lesser" teams as the season progresses and we click more, and that 38 point mark becomes less of a worry.

5 points is very achievable in the 7 games this month and we should do better, but the games against Bournemouth, Leicester and Huddersfield need to be the priorities for points - anything we get from the rest is just a bonus.

How will a Leicester win go down on here?

I'll just be happy to get 3 points. No need to gloat as we're not exactly setting to the world on fire with our new manager.

The reaction could be a lot more interesting if we lose..................

We'll beat Bournemouth and get a point against Huddersfield. 4 points from 7 games in December is of course the most we can hope for and it's more likely we'll only get 1, but that's not a disaster. Whilst it will confirm our relegation the most important thing is that we stay together as a fanbase for next season's battle against the drop in the Championship. It's a bloody hard league to survive in and we need at all costs to avoid the double drop down to League 1. That's what the club will be focusing on now.
