AndyD Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 I think 23,000 for this 1 - me and my mate are going!!!
ottery st mary Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 True figure at about 16,000...Will put my man outside with his abacus to be sure.
Amesbury Saint Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 taking two kids who have never been before - should put them off Saints!
rocknrollman no2 Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 I think around 21000. A lot of people are skint after Christmas and we dont often win at home.
ottery st mary Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 taking two kids who have never been before - should put them off Saints! I do hope, they are going voluntarily and not under the impression Arsenal or Liverpool are playing.
Saints67 Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Me & the missus are going. She's not seen us lose.......mind she's only seen us narrowly squeak past S****horpe this time last year but hey like Saints she's going for two wins in a row.
ottery st mary Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 Is it easier to count the people entering the stadium or the empty seats...A sort of half and half maths problem in a 32,500 seater stadium...Thinking of expense/time
docker-p Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 16,500. Don't think Doncaster will bring much more than 500
Saints1980 Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 23000? No chance. Anything above 17000 would be good, I will go for 17,246.
Amesbury Saint Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 I do hope, they are going voluntarily and not under the impression Arsenal or Liverpool are playing. nobody could get the impression that Saints V Doncaster was like Arse V Liverpool (I know I am mis quoting you!)
saintwarwick Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 17,451, with Saga back and a couple of new defenders plus on the bounce from a win last week we should manage this many.
Thedelldays Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 21k we will get more than 16k ffs....stop being stupid
Saint_Jonny Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 21k we will get more than 16k ffs....stop being stupid Agreed, we just won for the 1st time in ages, and this a realisticly winnable game. 20k for me.
Deppo Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 I'm going. I don't usually go, if that'll help anyone with their estimations.
Saint_clark Posted 14 January, 2009 Posted 14 January, 2009 21k we will get more than 16k ffs....stop being stupid Really? 14,000 is the average, sure it's a big game but Leicester at home was a massive game last year and that only got 2000 more than the norm.
devonsaint Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Really? 14,000 is the average, sure it's a big game but Leicester at home was a massive game last year and that only got 2000 more than the norm. The average for league games is actually 16913. If you take out the exceptional Forest crowd it's 16107. HTH
Saint_clark Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 The average for league games is actually 16913. If you take out the exceptional Forest crowd it's 16107. HTH Fair play. 17,000 - 18,000 then.
hamster Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Could be -1 if I don't shake this heavy cold off. But I reckon a respectable 16,500 all things considered ie genuine 6 pointer, on the back of a 'flukey' win, and weather is warming up.
Donnylee Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Could be -1 if I don't shake this heavy cold off. But I reckon a respectable 16,500 all things considered ie genuine 6 pointer, on the back of a 'flukey' win, and weather is warming up. We've sold just over 600 as of yesterday, hopefully 700-800 with pay on the day.
fanimal Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Also, why dont we now play Norwich next Saturday as we are both out of the FACup, save a long midweek trip and game, more time for rest, or is that being too sensible?? expect usual drivel about police, pre sold tickets blah blah....
Big Ron fan Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Official figure 15,301, but including a good 1,000 or more non-attendee season ticket holders.
jawillwill Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Could be -1 if I don't shake this heavy cold off. But I reckon a respectable 16,500 all things considered ie genuine 6 pointer, on the back of a 'flukey' win, and weather is warming up. Things are bad, but I don't think we'll be having negative attendances just yet.
Saint_John Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 The figures for this season games are :- Brum..... (H) 17,000 (A) 1,925 (est *1) Blackpool (H) 15,387 (A) ..242 Ipswich.. (H) 13,885 (A) 1,031 Barnsley. (H) 14,016 (A) ..820 Norwich.. (H) 13,680 (A) ..800 (est *2) Watford.. (H) 15,838 (A) 1,616 Coventry. (H) 13,465 (A) ..761 Bristol.. (H) 13,366 (A) 1,169 Wolves... (H) 14,882 (A) 2,920 Plymouth. (H) 13,647 (A) 1,248 Sheff W.. (H) 14,234 (A) 1,206 Nottm F.. (H) 24,410 (A) 2,170 Reading ..(H) 16,998 (A) 3,144 (est1 = Brum o/s said "almost 2000" and the total was 18,925; .est2 = well known Saints fan estimated Norwich at 800). For me it will be back to the loyal 14k supporters of LOWE FC plus how many Doncaster bring down in their wonderful "steam train" (which has pride of place at SMS).
trousers Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 Doncaster attendance prediction? I think 23,000 for this 1 - me and my mate are going!!! Are you looking for predictions of the 'official' seats sold figure or the actual number of people that will be in the stadium? (the latter of which we'll never know of course because they don't publish the actual number of people in the ground watching the game)
West End Saint Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 I really hope we get a big passionate crowd will be disapointed if its less than 20K this game could be a defining moment this season win and we could be out of the bottom 3 I am looking forward to the game and hope everybody gives it there all fans and players COME ON YOU SAINTS FFS!
dubsaint Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 I think 23,000 for this 1 - me and my mate are going!!! 26500, is there a prize for the person who is closest
bigtonesfc Posted 16 January, 2009 Posted 16 January, 2009 Getting me tickets this afternoon,with 3 "new fans" coming...21 234
saintwarwick Posted 16 January, 2009 Posted 16 January, 2009 26500, is there a prize for the person who is closest Yes, but with a total like that you have no chance of winning unless you combine two home games
krissyboy31 Posted 16 January, 2009 Posted 16 January, 2009 (edited) Would be good to get 20k+ but personally I reckon around 18k. Would be disappointed if it were less than that. Edited 16 January, 2009 by krissyboy31
krissyboy31 Posted 16 January, 2009 Posted 16 January, 2009 Is this at the standard exchange rate of £1 per fan? Lol. I must have been having brain failure (no change there!!). Changed now.
Norm Posted 16 January, 2009 Posted 16 January, 2009 I would like to go and take young H with me but at £25 for us both to see Saints V Doncaster Rovers, sorry, it looks like the radio again.
