How so? Everton where awful not even Sunday league standard against us that says more about the state of their team than ours. It's not like we went toe to toe with city either we sat deep and in shape (sensible tactic considering the disparity in squad quality) it certainly didn't show us to be a good team just a solid one. On squad depth the injury to Cedric is problem due to lack of quality cover behind him (same at LB) and the GK issue is partly down to a lack of options for Forster.

 

And yet Everton stuffed West Ham... Didn't they also get 4 points from the previous two games?

Some people are very quick to blame anything good on the opposition being bad rather than admit some of our players actually are quite Good.
