Mr Dad Posted 24 November, 2017 Posted 24 November, 2017 Did anyone else watch the game? Does anyone else agree that it was a much more entertaining game than we watch at St Mary's? How is this Saints related? Well I'd be tempted to sign up all of the women's England players in place of our squad!
benjii Posted 24 November, 2017 Posted 24 November, 2017 No, absolutely not. Tried to watch it once and it was insufferable.
SKD Posted 24 November, 2017 Posted 24 November, 2017 No, absolutely not. Tried to watch it once and it was insufferable. Same. It’s truly dreadful. If you’re willing to waste money & time on football, go watch our U23’s / 18’s in the Southampton Cup against a Wessex team. You’ll probably get a better level of football there.

Picard Posted 25 November, 2017 Posted 25 November, 2017 England women playing at St Mary's in April.
benjii Posted 25 November, 2017 Posted 25 November, 2017 England women playing at St Mary's in April. Thanks for the warning!
Miltonaggro Posted 25 November, 2017 Posted 25 November, 2017 England women playing at St Mary's in April. If it's against Totton it would worth a tenner, just to see a half century at St Mary's...
suewhistle Posted 26 November, 2017 Posted 26 November, 2017 England women playing at St Mary's in April. Cheers, thanks for the heads up. Presumably not on a Sunday when we play. When my team went to Fratton for a similar game it reminded me what a ramshackle ground it is.
suewhistle Posted 26 November, 2017 Posted 26 November, 2017 Friday April 6th against Wales in a WC qualifier.. 7pm kick off.
whelk Posted 26 November, 2017 Posted 26 November, 2017 Slight aside but BBC News had England’s women rugby result fur her up the order than the bloody Ashes. I’m sure that reflects the popularity across the nation. And lead on website on Saturday morning was the England’s women football result, of course not the WH v Leicester game, They really know their audience.
