HedgeEnder Posted 18 November, 2017 Share Posted 18 November, 2017 An absolute powerhouse of a rhythm guitarist. Up there (or more likely down there) now with Bon.
dellboypete Posted 19 November, 2017 Share Posted 19 November, 2017 One of my favorite bands of all time. First saw them around 1976 when they first came over to the UK and could not agree more about about Malcolm Young. We are currently visiting my son and his family near Melbourne ( which has saved us the agony of going to St Mary's for a couple of months) and today we were on a really long road trip returning from a few days away. Triple MMM radio station is playing 24 hours non stop AC/DC. Brilliant. Visited Fremantle (Western Australia, not Shirley!! ) a few years ago and made the pilgrimage to the statue of Bon Scott, for me the best lead singer AC/DC have had. HedgeEnder Posted 19 November, 2017 Author Share Posted 19 November, 2017 Wasn't lucky enough to see AC/DC with Bon Scott but what an immense front man he was. Apart from Back in Black I don't think anything they've done with Brian Johnson comes close to Bon in his prime. Didn't realise until recently that his last ever gig was at the Gaumont.
