Saint Albert Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 If Burnley hold on it will be their first top flight win at Southampton and only their second win in Southampton in 70 years.
niceandfriendly Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 We deserve this. We've been atrocious.
mrfahaji Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Sometimes you have to suck up a smash and grab, you can be unlucky in football. Lots of probing, the keeper making some good stops etc, only to be undone by the one or two chances that the opponents will inevitably get at some stage. But that hasn’t been the case today at all. It’s like we have been “managing” the 0-0, keeping our fingers crossed that at some point something clicks. We are basically playing like an away team. It’s an away team performance without a plan vs an away team performance with a plan.
Shanghai Saint Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Same **** different day. Same tosh we had to put up with all of last year.
OttawaSaint Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Could you imagine Jimmy Case or Glenn Cockerill putting up with this ****e? No leaders in this team, look like lost sheep.
hypochondriac Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Absolute dross. We all stayed in the concourse for almost ten minutes at half time having a chat and finishing our pints which were much better than anything else that was on offer. Loads of people did the same. Probably the last game I go to for a while.
badgerx16 Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Our passing and movement is too slow, our crossing is poor, as for our finishing I can't judge - we don't create chances. The players look as if they are sleep walking through a training exercise.
Shanghai Saint Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 And that is the end of our easy run of fixtures ...
Saint Albert Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Someone should have reminded MP that we are a goal down.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 4 November, 2017 Author Posted 4 November, 2017 Even ALWAYS posts are less dire than this. (Not by much mind). But not a patch on your self important posturing that infests the forum
Pamplemousse Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Pellegrino is out of his depth. Need someone in to give these useless players a kick up the backside.
Suhari Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 It's only the latter if you think the manager is getting the best out of the squad and people are all playing in the best set up to their potential. If anyone genuinely thinks that I'd be worried for their health. Yep. Players look slow, passionless and without real direction. Hate to jump on the bandwagon, but for me MoPe's time is up.
mrfahaji Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 One shot on target for Burnley. Yep, and that’s all you need to beat us.
SonicBoom Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Not sure why Austin is getting stick. He is the only player we have that given a chance would stick it way. People moaning he's not mobile but that's not his game. Gabbi is very mobile and he barely gets the ball. The real issue is that MP should find a system that can make the most of the players he picks. I doubt that Austins introduction will trigger a flood of through balls into the channels do you?
OttawaSaint Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Phew just as well we defend while we’re attacking, wouldn’t want to lose 1-0 at home...
Batman Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Pellegrino is out of his depth. Need someone in to give these useless players a kick up the backside.he is failing miserably to get a performance out of most of the players Terrible appointment
James Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Pellegrino is out of his depth. Need someone in to give these useless players a kick up the backside. Absolutely this. Terrible terrible manager.
sfc1976 Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Surely we're not making effective use of what we have. And that's down to the manager and his team.
Saint Albert Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Booos rain out as we lose at home to ****ing Burnley.
OttawaSaint Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Utter ****. Sick of this crop of players and manager, they can all **** off.
nta786 Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 cant say I blame the ref for blowing the whistle 20 seconds earlier. would not have scored if we played on all night.
Evil Monkey Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Never thought I'd say this, but I'd be delighted if we could replace this clown with Allardyce.
Mr X Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Man City really will tear us apart can see 5+ being put past us!
5string Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Utter rubbish! Plod plod plod... yikes... panic panic... oh.
obelisk Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 The common thread from last season to this is Black. Just sayin'.
Suhari Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 Lots of booing at the whistle. Freddie: what do you think of The Product now? Chairman Gap: you going to do anything? Nelly: helping anyone to pack their trunk? Going to put a Stranglers track on: Something Better Change.
badgerx16 Posted 4 November, 2017 Posted 4 November, 2017 The common thread from last season to this is Black. Just sayin'. Plus Les.
