.comsaint Posted 15 January, 2009 Share Posted 15 January, 2009 Why is it managers always get sacked just before we are due to play them ? Probably because Norwich's next three actual games are Barnsley home; Southampton home; and Doncaster away. I would imagine the new boss (whoever that might be) will see that as a superb run of three consecutive fixtures - all winable. Unless you're a Saints fan of course...in which case the middle fixture is beyond them!
SoccerMom Posted 15 January, 2009 Share Posted 15 January, 2009 Huckerby is no longer a Norwich player, was released at end of season and now plays in MLS. I had a thought about Cureton going back there and scoring against us the other day http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/7829227.stm
Cricketphilly Posted 15 January, 2009 Share Posted 15 January, 2009 I just pray that even Lowe will see the light before it is too late, at least there are a few out of work qualified, experienced British managers out there looking for a job. No 'name' manager will come into a club in our state with a zero transfer budget though
Whitey Grandad Posted 15 January, 2009 Share Posted 15 January, 2009 Glenn Roeder is the worst manager EVER... Have you been to one of our home games?
eurosaint Posted 15 January, 2009 Share Posted 15 January, 2009 Roeder thought that it would be a 'piece of cake' but was left with 'egg on his face' while Delia has been quoted as saying that 'the proof of the pudding was in the eating' !
