United have been the better side but another over hyped game ending up a bit dull.

Spurs look a bit toothless without Kane

If mopo can't win trophies with this spurs squad he doesn't deserve a step up

Seems like Crystal Palace have done a 'Pompey'. They have an ageing squad and haven't invested in their old ground, training facilities or academy. Now it's coming back to bite them.

And everyone's favourite manager on here Marco Silva losing at home to Stoke...

Come on, you’re doing it wrong. You can only cherry pick the good results, this one doesn’t count!

So if results don't change tonight the top 6 will read Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, spurs, Man Utd and Man City ...sigh different season same old same old.

If results go our way we could be 7th and best of the rest tomorrow

Good set of results today for us. Let's hope we can take advantage, a win would be a brilliant result and get us right up the table.

Agree. Also looking at next weekends fixtures too, with two good results we could be pushing top 4/5 hopefully :)

Antonio's ball's up by not keeping it in the corner at opposite end...

**** me my mind went right back to Saints leading Everton 2-1 the year we went down and Peter Crouch doing the very same thing :(

Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. There is zero place for positivity on this forum.

Yeah I agree with you there! But let's face it, this is a great opportunity! COYR

Yup, let's hope our manager takes that opportunity, and plays our best attacking players i.e. Boufal

Im as optimistic as the next man but after Burnley 7 of our next 10 games are against last seasons top 7.

Bearing in mind we have not won in the league against any of the top 6 for 550 days im thinking we probably should have made more of our easier start?

Are you saying he's thinking he's thinking when he's not thinking or that he has a genetic predisposition to be risk averse due to low seratonin as measured by his own subjective view in a questionnaire?

Yep me too.....

me too......

If saints win that game we get 2 extra points and we stay up on goal difference. WBA go down.

Having said that the years from -10 in League 1 to back up to the premier league and of course Marcus I wouldn't miss for the world.

Shows how **** poor everyone outside the big six is if we can be in 7th playing like we are at the moment.

Sky TV money.

The big 6 are still massively richer than the rest. The rest are now all rich enough to get decent players and pick points off each other. IMO the Sky money was the biggest reason a huge bunch of teams were close on points last season and its looking the same again this year.

Or that the league is poor, we spend too much money on a lot of poor to average players as a league and country and the 'big' clubs do usually manage to buy good players because Man City have bottomles pockets and some of the others aren't too shy to spend a ton either.

It is not only the squad players the big 6 buy it is the youngsters and in Chelsea's case they seem to have nearly dozens of players out on loan as well. I remember when Seri A was at it's financial peak and their big clubs were buying players just to stop other clubs playing them !

I wonder why our club is struggling to bring players through to the first team , are all the quality youngsters being snapped up and put through the big 6 system first ?
