Saint_clark Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Boufal HAS to start instead of Redmond next game.
OttawaSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 How many final warnings do these fullers get?
Batman Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 how redmond starts ahead of Boufal I will never know
BotleySaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 What a positive difference Boufal has been over Redmond today. Actual pace and skill.
OttawaSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Have to say bouf has been very good since coming on. There’s that second ball problem again no one at the top of the box to score there.
Saint Albert Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 He has his detractors on here but Boufal > than Redmond.
Batman Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 was it me or should forster have owned that cross, which is now a corner?
SaltashSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Boufal has always made an impression coming off the bench. It is his ability to do it over the duration of a game which is questionable. I'd like to see him given a free role in the number 10 position so there is no pressure on him to defend and he can do 'his thing' in the most dangerous areas.
DT Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Davis really cocked that up, first with the weight of that pass, and then the miskick Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Saint Albert Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 4 minutes of injury time but with those two Newcastle head injuries it should be longer.
Mr X Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 If we get a point out of this we can count ourselves very lucky! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Davis really cocked that up, first with the weight of that pass, and then the miskick Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Such a poor pass.
Saint_clark Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 ****ING ****S NOT GIVING THE BALL BACK THERE, ****ING CHEATING ******S
OttawaSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 **** were supposed to give us the ball back.
DT Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 How much longer will the ref give? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Saint Albert Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 VVD did well to get his head on that shot. Corner to Newcastle...and VVD heads it clear for the final whistle.
Saint_clark Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 P*ssed off with the ref, p*ssed off with Newcastle for not giving the ball back, p*ssed off with the lack of effort for the majority of the game. Same line up next game but Boufal in for Redmond please.
DT Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 We were chap throughout. Lucky point. Time to drop Forster and Redmond. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Poor game from Saints but at least we saw some goals from our boys.
OldNick Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 People who say Boufal doesn't track back are full of sh*t.perhaps too many flicks when we need something less flashy
Batman Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 terrible performance. the manager is clueless A penalty and a goal largely self made...... hardly tested their keeper with our patterns of play. we are in big big trouble this year, all the signs are there
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 More points dropped in another limp performance. Haven’t seen any improvement from pellegrino and we seem to be lacking in shape, and our attacking play in the final third is woeful. Long, hard season ahead.
Pamplemousse Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Draw was a fair result. Two average sides.
obelisk Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 That was hard work. Quite impressed with Newcastle.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 That was awful. Puel is forgiven more with each game we play. Glad Gabbi scored to break his hoodoo, but frankly we are sh*t
Saint Albert Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 With the upcoming November fixtures we really needed a win. Gabbi showed his goal scoring class in this game. It amazes me that Pellegrino has been so reluctant to start him. Lemina is such a good player. Boufal offered something coming on but lacked an end product. VVD has added solidity in the air for corners and free kicks, but overall it’s all a little numbing for me. Can’t think of too many positives from that game.
hypochondriac Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Hmm. We got a point but another poor performance that was lacking in entertainment for long periods
OldNick Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Quite impressed with Newcastle.Really !! surely it was us being mediocre that made them look decent
Pamplemousse Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 If Boufal isn't playing and Redmond is against West Brom, Pellegrino needs his head testing
Pamplemousse Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 That was hard work. Quite impressed with Newcastle. They weren't much better than us.
shurlock Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Take the point but result papers over the cracks.
LaptopSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 At least coming back twice shows a bit of character. But for a club that decided that 8th place and a cup final wasn't good enough last season, 9 points from those 8 games is pretty woeful.
Saint Albert Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Looking at the pen again, Long was canny to kick the ball away and sucker the defender into the idiotic foul.
Saint Albert Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 If Boufal isn't playing and Redmond is against West Brom, Pellegrino needs his head testing Yep. And the same if he benches Gabbi again.
simo Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 If Boufal isn't playing and Redmond is against West Brom, Pellegrino needs his head testing This ! Davis for Tadic too imo .
bpsaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Glad to not lose but it hardly papers over any cracks, everyone can see how absolutely average we are. MP is looking the wrong appointment with each match that passes. SD spared our blushes with that goal line clearance. FF is dog****, but will still be in the squad next week. Ref absolutely bottled the red card decision, no consistency whatsoever. #welimpon
LaptopSaint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 If Boufal isn't playing and Redmond is against West Brom, Pellegrino needs his head testing Boufal can be infuriating but hardly surprising that he always looks like he's trying a bit too hard when he rarely gets more than 20 minutes. When we bought him he was supposed to be our f*cking saviour. I'm bored of saying this now, but give him a run of games...
saint1977 Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 If Boufal isn't playing and Redmond is against West Brom, Pellegrino needs his head testing He can get his head tested with his payoff = sack him. Reed and Wilson can join him at the job centre as well. Shame on Pellegrino though for dropping Gabbiadini and before that playing him in a totally unsuitable system. Good to see Gabi sticking two fingers up at him and his puppeteer today.
Ashby Saint Posted 15 October, 2017 Posted 15 October, 2017 Tadic is poisonous to this team. He doesn’t work hard enough.
