SuperSAINT Posted 14 October, 2017 Share Posted 14 October, 2017 Yes, sums up the current problems very well. Also agreed with this part: "Puel was not the problem, then." Indeed. The powers that be thought he was though. Incredible they thought that it wasn't the playing personnel. Optimism at its very best.
LGTL Posted 14 October, 2017 Share Posted 14 October, 2017 Man City scored more goals in 79 minutes today then we have at home in 8 months
sandwichsaint Posted 14 October, 2017 Share Posted 14 October, 2017 Man City scored more goals in 79 minutes today then we have at home in 8 months Then we just need to swap our front 6 with their front 6, problem solved.

Lighthouse Posted 14 October, 2017 Share Posted 14 October, 2017 Man City scored more goals in 79 minutes today then we have at home in 8 months I had similar thoughts when I saw that score so I went back and checked. 7 goals at home since beating Leicester 3-0 in January. Heisenberg Posted 14 October, 2017 Share Posted 14 October, 2017 Indeed. The powers that be thought he was though. Incredible they thought that it wasn't the playing personnel. Optimism at its very best. Confidence is huge. Puel took over a very very confident team. We were In Europe and had a brilliant season before. Puel somehow managed to kill all the confidence and feel good amongst players and fans... It was remarkable how quickly he killed our mojo. Im not sure pellegrino is the right man and there were better options available, however he needs to try and rebuild a broken squad.... Hes inheriting a big job and could realistically take a long time to undo the damage Puel caused.

Despite that, Puel got us to a cup final, no goals conceded, all against PL clubs, and we deserved to win.

Better options indeed and it’s a shame Tuchel ruled himself out after a numerous of meetings with Reed before making his decision. Dont think we will ever know why?
