Chez Posted 14 January, 2009 Share Posted 14 January, 2009 Thanks for that and some reasonable points but I disagree totally about subs...I still cant fathom the Gillett one versus wednesday who were just pumping high balls forward when we had better options on the bench IMO. Coventry at home where we had players dead on there feet and bombarded our area and only changed after they had scored and Plymouth at home where we drew 0-0 and had Pearce sat on the bench and could of thrown him up front for the last 10 or so. Thats just 3 from memory but of course I have the hindsight of results but felt at the time he was wrong. I still feel he could do a job here but not as first team manager unless he got in someone more experienced here to help as Gorre hasnt shown much yet. I disagree about the Gillet sub in that game. It backfired but at the time it was exactly what i woud have done - take a tired McGoldrick off and get a defensive midfielder on. There have been successful substitutions, Preston away for example, 2-0 down, JP brings on Gobern and BWP and we come back to win 3-2. Away at Charlton we were being mugged by Charlton. JP brings on Pearce at half time and we never looked like conceeding. I'm not JP's biggest fan - clueless is a term I have used on a few occasions, but he does do somethings right. sadoldgit Posted 15 January, 2009 Share Posted 15 January, 2009 I expect JP to remain at SFC, because of contract pay-offs If Lowe does do something, he will rejiggle and put Wotte on top. It's a real pity you even have to turn agreement into abuse. Reckon you need professional help...

Reckon you need professional help... noticed yesterday we both independently posted an agreement to a post the other had made!
