It wasn't any old tree either. It was an oak to signify the age of the club and its longstanding place in the middle of the community.
alehouseboys Posted 19 September, 2017 Posted 19 September, 2017 Still, should have been a ship though or a gnarly old docker!
Bad Wolf Posted 20 September, 2017 Posted 20 September, 2017 No. I LOVE our badge. Even if I wern't a Saints fan, I'd still really like it.
Jimmy_D Posted 20 September, 2017 Posted 20 September, 2017 I love our current badge personally, and wouldn't want to change it. One of the biggest things in its favour as far as I'm concerned is that everything about it, even just the silhouette of it, is unmistakably us.

cambsaint Posted 20 September, 2017 Posted 20 September, 2017 I think the badge does its job well. However perhaps all EPL clubs should have a badge with a circle of greedy pigs with their snouts in a trough being kept warm by an obscenely large bonfire of money.

benjii Posted 22 September, 2017 Posted 22 September, 2017 I thought the tree represented Matt Oakley.

Tamesaint Posted 18 November, 2020 Posted 18 November, 2020 Looks appalling. We are blessed with having a great nickname which is recognised by virtually every English football supporter. Why on earth would we swap the halo for red and white stripes - particularly as we often have seasons when we do not play in red and white stripes? 3
