Original. A bit harsh, but we'll be in touching distance I suspect.

Lord Duckhunter Posted 8 September, 2017 Share Posted 8 September, 2017 Did the computer say how we will play. Will it be an exciting 12th, with plenty of goal match action, interesting press conference & happy players? Saint-Fred Posted 8 September, 2017 Share Posted 8 September, 2017 I would have predicted that as the bottom three too!
SaintBobby Posted 9 September, 2017 Share Posted 9 September, 2017 Probably about right. We'll be somewhere between 8th and 15th. And that's probably only a spread of 6 or 10 points. I'd lean to 9th or 10th. But 12th isn't an absurd idea.
Wes Tender Posted 9 September, 2017 Share Posted 9 September, 2017 The computer should stick to predicting the outcomes of chess games, where pieces don't get suspended, injured, or transferred.
Professor Posted 9 September, 2017 Share Posted 9 September, 2017 As soon as I saw the claim of a "Super Computer" the whole thing immediately lost any credibility A bald attempt to oversell what is just a piece of software. The program would have produced entirely different results if any of the value judgements had been different, even marginally so and could have been run on a laptop because we all know the platform makes no difference. Quite frankly, the whole phrase "super computer" is just so twentieth century. Whoever wrote that article seems very out-of-date.
