So glad he scored that goal and was not particularly ecstatic .... it was a late goal against one of the poorest teams in the world!! The team hopefully will take a pounding from the press today.

At least now we know his dead pan sullen look isn't just reserved for us.

I'm no body language expert, but he came across as pretty unconvincing.

You're right, you are no body language expert :toppa:

Yesterday, he only seemed to overlap when Tadic and Redmond swapped wings. In the second half, it almost looked as if Saints were playing 3 at the back, with Bertrand as the left of the 3 (maybe they were!).

His effort and demeanor have been diabolical lately. Gone are the days when managers like Clough and Fergie would nip this sort of thing in the bud. Players are like spoiled brats nowadays, can't say/do anything to them for fear of upsetting the little snowflakes.

You are right, I imagine he would really kick off if Targett was given a game. Such a shame we went out of the League Cup so limply as we could have done with the chance for more of the squad to show what they can do.

Yeah I think we were, with Boufal left wing back...! It actually seemed to work better to be honest, though not sure how comfortable I would be with Sofiane forming part of our back five :o
