It really depends on when he develops what Adam Peaty calls his "man strength". He needs to be a man to pay CH in the EPL. Playing senior football somewhere will probably be best for him right now - as we did with Stephens.

Yeah fair point...Stephens spent the best part of 3 years out on loan before getting his chance with us.

Whenever I watch Alfie Jones it seems like the game comes very naturally to him and he has another few gears to get into but never needs to. It is usually the sign of a very good player.
