Bad Wolf Posted 11 August, 2017 Share Posted 11 August, 2017 Looked very good and level headed whenever I've watched our youth team.
farawaysaint Posted 11 August, 2017 Share Posted 11 August, 2017 He's been tipped as a star for some time if I remember right.
Saint_lambden Posted 11 August, 2017 Share Posted 11 August, 2017 At 19, it would be nice to see him get some regular game time this season so a loan move maybe best.
ladysaint Posted 11 August, 2017 Share Posted 11 August, 2017 I was impressed with the young winger we had at Brentford Tyreke Johnson!
Saint_clark Posted 11 August, 2017 Share Posted 11 August, 2017 Could be looking at pushing another young centreback into the first team fold then?
Faz Posted 11 August, 2017 Share Posted 11 August, 2017 Could be looking at pushing another young centreback into the first team fold then? It really depends on when he develops what Adam Peaty calls his "man strength". He needs to be a man to pay CH in the EPL. Playing senior football somewhere will probably be best for him right now - as we did with Stephens.

Yeah fair point...Stephens spent the best part of 3 years out on loan before getting his chance with us.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 11 August, 2017 Share Posted 11 August, 2017 Whenever I watch Alfie Jones it seems like the game comes very naturally to him and he has another few gears to get into but never needs to. It is usually the sign of a very good player.
