InvictaSaint Posted 4 August, 2017 Share Posted 4 August, 2017 Am likely to be over there at that time, and would happily meet up with any local Saints who might be able to point me in the right direction in terms of places to see/visit. Happy to take orders for shirts /souvenirs etc. which I can bring over with me.

Greenridge Posted 4 August, 2017 Share Posted 4 August, 2017 I'm there the week before for work. Quite a regular trip for me. Plano and Richardson. Get yourself a tour round the 'new' Dallas Cowboys stadium. Now that is a stadium!

Show me the mané Posted 4 August, 2017 Share Posted 4 August, 2017 I live in North Dallas and work with 2 other big saints fans. We don't miss a game!
Show me the mané Posted 4 August, 2017 Share Posted 4 August, 2017 In response to things to do - I've not been to watch the cowboys but the stadium is huge! You'd be lucky to get a ticket to a game for less than the $200 mark though. If you want real cowboys the stockyards at Fort Worth is pretty cool The JFK museum and tour is also worth doing For a decent night out head to Uptown or Deep Ellum (depending on what you're in to)
USA SaintsFan Posted 4 August, 2017 Share Posted 4 August, 2017 I'd recommend heading over the the USA Saints Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/SaintsFCUSA/
SaintTex Posted 5 August, 2017 Share Posted 5 August, 2017 Dallas in late August? Prepare for the heat. It will be hot! Have fun, eat BBQ, drink a Shiner Bock. good suggestion above on Deep Ellem. Texans are friendly, play up your accent and you'll have no problems striking up conversations.
