OttawaSaint Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Seville's site confirms that the match won't be on live TV anywhere so obviously no streams. On the other hand they're playing Everton tomorrow and that's on Seville TV. Of course it is, top 7 team in England, the history, the dugouts, etc etc
shurlock Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Does anyone know the score? Someone must know someone who is at St Marys. 0-0. Sevilla been on top but Saints coming into it in the last few mins.
Fabrice29 Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 on the other hand, I can get streams for; burnley hannover Fulham Norwich eintracht real betis Fulham Norwich Dundee ross county hibs partick thistle palace schalke red bull stoke with no problem. Yes because all have been seemingly picked up by TV stations elsewhere and then someone has uploaded it to create a stream (People get how streams work right?). For whatever reason our friendly hasn't been picked up and Saints aren't allowed to stream it themselves. It's a bit **** there is no radio commentary though agreed.
ericofarabia Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Stephens scores from a corner 1-0 according to mate at the match!!
Simon3737 Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 They could play 15 minutes of audio adverts for Virgin Media at half time if they want a revenue stream. I'm sure audio streaming is pretty cheap to provide.
striker Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Ah that explains it, I couldn't pull Stephens name from the spanish audio. I knew it was us though.
striker Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Looks like a corner which was headed forward by someone, then finished in from maybe 5' from Stephens.
syd_barrett_saint Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 A little before we scored the Spanish commentators were talking about how good Cedric's crossing is!
OttawaSaint Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 ITS OUR FUKING YEAR!!!!!! Yeah a big $30m foreigner would have scored twice on that play. Booooo.
simo Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Looks like an OG to me. Better copy here does look like the defender gets the final touch Take a look at @SouthamptonFC's Tweet:
Matthew Le God Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 There are regular updates on the official Twitter and Facebook pages. Including videos of the goals soon after they are scored...
Saint Fan CaM Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Interesting...I've noticed we rarely have a player peel off at the back post for a corner yet here is Stevens doing just that. Nice.
shurlock Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Better copy here does look like the defender gets the final touch Take a look at @SouthamptonFC's Tweet: Yep the defender got the final touch, though the user tweet shows Stephens shot was skewing across the 6-yard box. It wasn't on target. But no biggie.
striker Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 It could just be my lousy spanish, but it sounds like Seville has been getting a lot of pressure on us and controlling things. Love to get someone there to shed some perspective.
itchen Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 It could just be my lousy spanish, but it sounds like Seville has been getting a lot of pressure on us and controlling things. Love to get someone there to shed some perspective. But Whispering Dave usually has Saints on top even when we aren't.
doddisalegend Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Better than Wednesday still not convinced the team have nailed the pressing side of things yet. Defence is a worry looks all a bit keystone cops as soon as they put us under any pressure. On the plus side Gabbi is looking very sharp and Cedric is looking very good.
trousers Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 It could just be my lousy spanish, but it sounds like Seville has been getting a lot of pressure on us and controlling things. Love to get someone there to shed some perspective.I'm at the game. I wouldn't say that Sevilla are 'controlling things'. It's a pretty even game in terms of possession. P.s. Stephens is looking very composed and has had a couple of great runs from defense into attacking positions (very van Dijk esque)
Leo_ARG Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 It could just be my lousy spanish, but it sounds like Seville has been getting a lot of pressure on us and controlling things. Love to get someone there to shed some perspective. They called us "Alaves 2", meaning that Pellegrino's tactis are negative. They said all our 11 players are inside our penalty area, etc etc:rolleyes:

Love to get someone there to shed some perspective. After we scored we seem to drop deep and to be trying to play on the break so yeah they are seeing a lot more of the ball than us.

doddisalegend Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 which is it Trousers must have gone for a hot dog after the goal..
trousers Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Big crowd... Kingsland is closed. The other 3 stands are c.80-90% full (except for Northam away section)
trousers Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Btw, Redmond was nursing what looked like a rib injury towards the end of the half. Got elbowed in a challenge I think. Wouldn't surprise me if he came off at half time
trousers Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 which is it [emoji38]Both. Sevilla did indeed have more of the ball after the goal but I reckon we had more of it beforehand. So, about even over the whole half IMO. I'm no rocket scientist though so take my observations with a pinch of salt

striker Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Thanks doddisalegend and Leo_ARG. Thats the way its sounded, but I thought maybe their commentators just got a lot more excited when Seville was attacking. If we are parking the bus then MP must really think its important to win this.
Leo_ARG Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 9 changes for Sevilla. Nolito, Jesus Navas and Ben Yedder. The real test starts now.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Our first goal scored at St Marys since...? Last season
trousers Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 Sounds like we made some changes at the half.Nope, same 11 for us
Window Cleaner Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 If we are parking the bus then MP must really think its important to win this. I expect getting crapped upon by Augsburg has something to do with that.
VectisSaint Posted 5 August, 2017 Posted 5 August, 2017 2-0 Edit. Offside! Still 1-0 When did Long come on?
