Master Bates Posted 2 August, 2017 Share Posted 2 August, 2017 What with us playing 7 years to the day the club announced the passing of Sir Markus Liebherr, and the game being 2 days after his passing, any chance of a minutes applause before kick off and a video tribute on the big screen? Shroppie Posted 10 August, 2017 Share Posted 10 August, 2017 Excellent proposal. And, It's time we had a statue and/or a stand named after him. Quite simply, he saved Saints and laid the foundation for what we have today - a successful PL team with a superb Academy and a structure that is the model many aspire to, but few achieve. We will forever be grateful. Thank you Markus. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Bad Wolf Posted 10 August, 2017 Share Posted 10 August, 2017 He may have only been with us for little over a year but he's just as much of a Saints legend as MLT, SRL, Bates, Channon, McMenemy, Paine etc. Thank you Markus! Forever in your debt.

Forever in your debt. God was it really that short a period of time? So sad for someone that restored our pride, rescued our club and gave us a sense of purpose and confidence we'd been missing for years.
