Yorkshire Saint Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/40710224 Come on all - time to vote
Yorkshire Saint Posted 1 August, 2017 Author Posted 1 August, 2017 Agreed - Saints Forum posters to the rescue please
davefoggy Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 I hate that Beckham goal from the halfway line. any decent keeper could have just stood there and caught it. Le Tiss had more skill in his little toe than Beckham did, so over rated
VectisSaint Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 Nice to have 2 Saints in the 5. Actually think Yeboah's is best as well (but voted for MLT). Would like to vote for Rod as well. Beckham's is the least good of the five, overrated ****.
Manuel Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 I think Yeboh's is the best. Yeah, it deserves to win to be fair. Voted for Le Tiss anyway.
Crab Lungs Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 3 of those goals at Selhurst park? Weird anomaly
jamesfp1 Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 Yeboah will always be the one Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

His talent in a football pitch, and his winner mentality, is beyond question for me.

Le Tiss had more skill in his little toe than Beckham did, so over rated Any decent keeper who was stood on his goal-line for no apparent reason and would have been incredibly slow at getting to any through ball, maybe. Personally I think the Atkinson, Beckham and Yeboah goals are all better than Le Tiss's, but I voted for him anyway.
5string Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 (edited) My favourite of those is the Atkinson goal. Did the decent thing & voted for LeTiss, though. Edit: Twice! Haha, once on my phone, once on my laptop. Do it! Edited 1 August, 2017 by 5string

Dellman Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 Is it MLT's best goal? Don't reckon they chose Le Tiss best goal, how about the Newcastle home match goal?
angelman Posted 1 August, 2017 Posted 1 August, 2017 Don't reckon they chose Le Tiss best goal, how about the Newcastle home match goal? They're only choosing the (PL) goals of the season.
Sevvy Posted 2 August, 2017 Posted 2 August, 2017 For some strange reason I could vote again today on the same pc
bpsaint Posted 2 August, 2017 Posted 2 August, 2017 That applause from the home fans says it all for the Le Tiss goal is utter class. That being said it's probably not in my top 5 Le Tiss goals, but I still voted for it anyway. Yeboah deserves to win though, that goal is something else, although I love his infamous Volley just as much.
a1ex2001 Posted 2 August, 2017 Posted 2 August, 2017 Always loved that Yeboha goal but voted for LeGod the Beckham Goal is outstanding but terrible keeping!
sambosa75 Posted 3 August, 2017 Posted 3 August, 2017 Voted for Tiss but Yeboah's strike was better for n my opinion.
mrfahaji Posted 3 August, 2017 Posted 3 August, 2017 Obviously voted for Le Tiss, but think there is a case for Yeboah and Atkinson. The thing is, Le Tissier probably has another 5 goals which could be in that list, and another 10-15 which would play a part in a montage of best PL goals. Not sure anyone has, or will score two goals in the same game that match the quality of the two vs Newcastle. The fact that they were both brilliant yet so different from each other too.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 3 August, 2017 Posted 3 August, 2017 I prefer great goals that mean something. This is why I rate Matt's Newcastle 2 & last day at Dell higher than his Blackburn one. He may have made Flowers look a chump, but we lost the match. I particularly like the Wimbledon free kick because it was unique, it also, if memories serve, won us the game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
