Block 18 Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Why do women/girls wear this form of foot wear that is clearly so not good for their feet. At least 90% of wearers of this style boot seem to be walking as if they have poo'ed their pants due to the total lack of support they offer. Or is it just me getting old and needing something to moan about
Saint Garrett Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Saw blokes wearing them the other day....O DEAR...

Why , why, why, oh why?
Scudamore Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Velour tracksuit with something written on the arse like "juicy" and Ugg boot combo...horrible.
Durleyfos Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Velour tracksuit with something written on the arse like "juicy" and Ugg boot combo...horrible. That's exactly what I'm wearing at the moment.
Pip87 Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 I have a pair but due to the reasons you've said I only wear them as slippers indoors and/or for very quick trips (to take the bin out or something). They are very warm and cosy, so I assume that's the reason, but I just couldn't wear them out. I have bought a pair that look fairly similiarish that I can wear.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Velour tracksuit with something written on the arse like "juicy" and Ugg boot combo...horrible. A very good look. There was a woman down the gym in the pool recently that was a huge piece. She had a bikini on with "gorgeous" written across her arse. It just seemed so wrong.

bridge too far Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 They are horrid and ugly. I think so too. And the splendid irony of someone wearing them 'to keep warm' whilst wearing a skirt no longer than a belt and a vest
Rory Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 I think Block 18 has had his advances spurned by a Ugg boots wearer, hence the hate. I don't have a problem with them but it does give wearers a touch of the "bandys".
swannymere Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Women generally have poor taste in footwear, despite their apparent love of said item :smt078
saint_stevo Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Mine cost £140 Worth it though for the warmth
JohnnyFartPants Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Mine cost £140 Worth it though for the warmth A fool and his money.....................................

Jillyanne Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Also women should never wear these: Agreed, ok for teenage girls though.
Michelle Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 I have a pair of Ugg's. They are lovely. Fact.
Block 18 Posted 13 January, 2009 Author Posted 13 January, 2009 Cant stand the UGG's, On the other hand these are OK or these
swannymere Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Cant stand the UGG's, On the other hand these are OK or these Prostitutes must love you
dubai_phil Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Went to the Ugg factory last year down south of Perth. Can't say it was even remotely interesting but it was the 10 minute stop over on an all day vinyard tour. I got given a pair of purple crocs.... Think they are the ugliest things ever BUT bloody useful for slipping on quick to go get a pint of milk from the corner shop (but not in winter in Blighty) Sad to say actually saw a cute chick in the local supermarket wearing Ugg's - it was 25C outside. Didn't notice the boots at first, noticed the "strange perfume"
Big Poppa Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Cant stand the UGG's, On the other hand these are OK or these Weh hey!! FMB's lol
Marsdinho Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 It because they are all f*cking sheep and wear whatever they see Posh Spice wearing in Closer
PompeyLass Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Agreed, ok for teenage girls though. I wear these sort but they are black. Have a 15 minute walk to/from the train station each day & I find it easier to walk in these & then change into heels when in the office.

I wear them because I am taller than my (work) partner and I don't want him to feel inferior if I wear heels
