We need to come out of the traps on form, first fixtures up to November all winnable (maybe manure at home excepted!)

Conversely we don't need to be struggling for points the last couple of months - real toughies!

If we are as good as our 8th place suggests, we should be right up in the top six looking at August/Sept/Oct fixtures.

Come on Saints, let's have a good start to the campaign, and start off on the front foot for once :)

Does anyone know what the arrangements for away fans will be at Wembley? It would be great if they gave us a huge allocation for that game.

Isn't it 10% or 3000 (or a tad more), which ever is less?

Domestic league fixtures shouldn't be played at Wembley, it's a joke.

Agree. They should ground share. But it is systemic of football that it is driven by money and profit. That unfortunately goes to the top ie the FA. They want as much revenue from their stadium and Spurs want 90k fans as opposed to 30k at MK Dons.

After their recent performances at Wembley, I am all for Spurs playing there. It's a neutral venue - Spurs have no home games this season, and every team will go there and raise their game. They'll suffer this season IMO. (when I mean suffer, I mean they'll finish no higher than 4th).

That is the minimum, rather than the maximum. What I was wondering was whether Spuirs would give a bigger allocation to try and fill the ground. Imagine if they gave us 10k tickets...

The home games against Everton and Arsenal will be moved to the Sunday or Monday, as they have Europa League on the Thursday before that (Arsenal definitely, Everton if they make it to the group stage)

The away games also clash with Europa League knockout games, so they might also be moved to the Sunday if either of those teams make it far enough.

I wish our worst case scenario was 4th.

As other have said, a very good opportunity to get lots of points on the board before November. We will be in big trouble if not top half at least by end of October. But let's be positive, could really set the tone for a great campaign if we go well.

I always look to avoid the big squad clubs over Xmas who rotate with more success so am disappointed to see away trips to Spurs and Manure in such quick succession
