S-Clarke Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Renato Sanches will wear the no. 85 shirt at Swansea City. That's the worst thing we've seen today. The #PL reject the number 85 for @renatosanches35. He will now wear 35 for the #Swans this season.

S-Clarke Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 thank god for that There is some common sense in the PL after all..!!!
trousers Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Why are the two numbers '3' and '5' less offensive and/or annoying than the numbers '8' and '5'? #firstworldproblems
simo Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 There is some common sense in the PL after all..!!! Does it matter what number a player wears ? Half of them blooming have nickname's on the back these days anyway !
S-Clarke Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Sky Sports News still making a big deal over Diafra Sakho from WHU. Who cares if he had to go to the racing to meet his agent? They really should stop dragging this out all day now. Couple of hours in the evening is all this needs.

There was something in L'Equipe about Sakho this morning, did West Ham pull the plug on his transfer to Rennes after he'd gone there to sign on, something like that?

SuperSAINT Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Crystal Palace have agreed a deal with Everton for striker Oumar Niasse, according to Sky sources. The deal is subject to personal terms being agreed and passing a medical.

S-Clarke Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Sky sources are telling us Newcastle United's move for Southampton defender Matt Targett is OFF.
SuperSAINT Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 @PSG_inside: Le Paris Saint-Germain est heureux d'annoncer la signature de Kylian Mbappé ! #BienvenueKylian
S-Clarke Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 PSG sign M'Bappe. A loan deal though, so they can get around FFP.
SuperSAINT Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 A loan deal though, so they can get around FFP. Would love to know the loan fee. I saw Liverpool got £6m for Origi loan fee (!)
Shroppie Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Sky sources are telling us Newcastle United's move for Southampton defender Matt Targett is OFF.Maybe since we've missed our forward targets, going to use McQueen as a striker and keep Targett as LB cover. But seems that it's just details between clubs to be sorted. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
DT Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Targett deal off. They wanted 12 months. Us six Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

SuperSAINT Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Liverpool have accepted a £26million bid from Crystal Palace for defender Mamadou Sakho, according to Sky sources. We understand the player is presently on his way to London for a medical..

Shroppie Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 (edited) We'd just put an option in to recall in that case.I may have dreamt it, but I thought recall clauses weren't allowed any more. Edit: must have dreamt it. For a 12 month loan, can recall in Jan. For any other time, has to be agreed by both parties in advance. So you're right. Shroppie Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Hush your mouth!Hopefully, now Virgil's staying, Bertie will get back to normal, rather than preparing to have the mega-strop that was coming if we'd let VVD go. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

S-Clarke Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Ok, the Drinkwater deal may happen. Leicester have gone back for the target they had last year. Leicester are close to completing a £15m deal for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva, Sky Sports News understands. Sky Sports News understands Leicester will only complete the Adrien Silva deal, IF Danny Drinkwater leaves for Chelsea before tonight's 11pm deadline.
John Boy Saint Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Did Barkley have a quick peek on Cobham Zoopla while having his medical and think "flipping heck you can buy a postcode round where I come from for that money!!". Ronald won't be happy!!

CB Fry Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Merson onBarkley pulling out of Chelsea move “you can’t live in Liverpool for the rest of your life”I just saw that. Brilliant.
angelman Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Would be funny if Barca came in tomorrow for Coutinho
LaptopSaint Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Best window? Probably West Brom. Worst? Got to be the bar codes. Can't imagine Rafa's impressed.
Saint Albert Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Merson onBarkley pulling out of Chelsea move “you can’t live in Liverpool for the rest of your life” As you can imagine, that comment has gone down like a lead balloon on RAWK.
Saint Albert Posted 31 August, 2017 Posted 31 August, 2017 Seems like Barkley has decided he doesn't want a pay rise, CL football and London life. I mean I had second thoughts when I saw rent prices here but guessing he doesn't have to worry about that. I'm sure he'll enjoy being back up to Sigurdsson now, or back up to Rooney or back up to Klassen. He's only a couple of injuries away from a sub appearance I guess. Everton now risk losing him on a free if he choses to go abroad in January. Interesting also that Levy appears to have ****ed off another football club. Everton refused to negotiate with him over Barkley: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/08/31/ross-barkley-turns-chance-join-chelsea-everton-refuse-negotiate/

doddisalegend Posted 1 September, 2017 Posted 1 September, 2017 Best window? Probably West Brom. Worst? Got to be the bar codes. Can't imagine Rafa's impressed. I would have said Man U.
mrfahaji Posted 1 September, 2017 Posted 1 September, 2017 As you can imagine, that comment has gone down like a lead balloon on RAWK. Haha, I bet it's full of people slagging off London, with a few 'alcoholic' jibes at Merson for good measure.
DT Posted 1 September, 2017 Posted 1 September, 2017 I would have said Man U. Spurs didn't do too badly
S-Clarke Posted 1 September, 2017 Posted 1 September, 2017 Everton have spent a lot of money, but their lack of getting in a striker yesterday has got to be ringing alarm bells for their fans, surely? You can't let a 25/30 goal player leave and not replace him, which in essence is what they've done. They're obviously hoping for a better return of goals throughout the team, rather than focusing on a single player, but it's a huge gamble. And Newcastle - christ on a bike. What a ****ty situation they've got themselves in. Huddersfield and Bournemouth have spent more than them. Rafa will be gone within weeks in my opinion, through his own call rather than being sacked. He won't want a relegation battle on his CV and they're not doing anything else this season.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 1 September, 2017 Posted 1 September, 2017 In other news the young players role model has been on the pi ss http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11015643/wayne-rooney-arrested-on-suspicion-of-drink-driving
SaintTex Posted 1 September, 2017 Posted 1 September, 2017 Summer 2017 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - £35 million Summer 2016 Sadio Mane - £34 million Chamberlain, even taking a paycut, is still on higher weekly wages than Mane, as well. Craziness.
Saint Albert Posted 2 September, 2017 Posted 2 September, 2017 The kerfufle between West Ham's Sullivan (a former captain of the adult entertainment industry) and Sporting Lisbon over an alleged offer made on deadline day by Sporting to sell Carvalho to the Hammers, is actually rather amusing: "David Sullivan is lying," Saraiva said. "Sporting Clube de Portugal, as its Chairman has already said, has received no offer for the player William Carvalho. "The football business is a not an adult film set on which all obscenities are allowed. This intellectual pornography is not worthy of a head of a football club." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/09/02/west-ham-chairman-david-sullivan-hit-liar-claims-william-carvalho/
Bad Wolf Posted 3 September, 2017 Posted 3 September, 2017 (edited) Talk of De Boar being sacked already! From the BBC gossip column. (Didn't know where to post this, here seemed most appropriate) Edited 3 September, 2017 by Instant Classic
East Kent Saint Posted 3 September, 2017 Posted 3 September, 2017 Rafa has a £5M buy out clause in his Newcastle contract ! so if he wants another job Ashley gets £5M from him or his new employers . I suspect he will ride out theseason .
