3 of the best players in that squad are 100% ours. Stephens, JWP and Redmond. A nod to Pickford and Holding as well.

Targett is manifestly a better defender. McQueen is better going forwards.

Mostly to do with experience, Targett has been a regular for the U21s, while Sam has only played once I think. McQueen will probably get called up, sure to be one of the little preciouses will drop out.

Not sure I agree Targett lacks pace which means he gets skinned by just about every winger/wide forward he comes up against.
