scotty Posted 18 May, 2017 Share Posted 18 May, 2017 Out of interest, how did you happen to stumble across that? ☺️
Whitey Grandad Posted 18 May, 2017 Share Posted 18 May, 2017 Thanks for sharing. All a bit late for me but if I needed somewhere to lie down for a nap in the afternoon I'll know where to look
Colinjb Posted 18 May, 2017 Share Posted 18 May, 2017 This has been advertised on TV recently. Mainly trying to normalise the idea of hiring a hotel in the day by business people looking for a home away from home, etc. But yes, it's got one main purpose. SO16_Saint Posted 18 May, 2017 Author Share Posted 18 May, 2017 Out of interest, how did you happen to stumble across that? [emoji5] Haha!! I saw an advert on the tv after the game last night. I head half listening and had to rewind the tv to make sure I was hearing right!!
Behind Enemy Lines Posted 27 May, 2017 Share Posted 27 May, 2017 Very useful in my job. We are restricted to the number of hours we can do in a duty. So, if we have an early flight somewhere, where the passengers, for example, are going to a business meeting/event, they might be there until late in the evening before returning to the airport to fly back. So we would go to a hotel during the day and have rest there, getting some sleep etc, then go back to the airport to fly the return leg later on. The time we have rested can be used to extend the duty period we can do (up to a certain limit). Although, the presumptions made above seem a lot more fun to me!
