Ponty Posted 12 January, 2009 Share Posted 12 January, 2009 After the 1-2 positions (decided by WDC and team-mate) the remainder are placed by WCC positions. The individual numbering is at the discretion of the team.
Colinjb Posted 12 January, 2009 Share Posted 12 January, 2009 Curious to see Honda still there. They really must be feeling optimistic.
Hatch Posted 12 January, 2009 Share Posted 12 January, 2009 Any chance of Jensen getting a driv e?
Ponty Posted 12 January, 2009 Share Posted 12 January, 2009 Not unless someone buys Honda or he gets the unconfirmed seat at Toro Rosso. I believe the guys at Toro Rosso have approached him and I know he wants to honour his "Honda" contract (as a preference) but until someone is confirmed alongside Buemi I wouldn't rule that out. Alanh Posted 13 January, 2009 Share Posted 13 January, 2009 I thought there was a ban on tobacco advertising in F1 now. How come Ferrari can still have Marlboro as a title sponsor? Also, just saw the new Ferrari in the Guardian http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/jan/13/formula-one-motor-sport-ferrari. It doesn't look as bad as I thought the cars might look for this year. There are more photos in the paper.

There are more photos in the paper. They can't display the Marlboro brand at any competitive event but there's nothing to prevent a tobacco firm sponsoring a team per sé. Also, it looks good in the press photos but it looks damn ugly on the track, as will they all.
