skintsaint Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2016/185/en/ According to this report we have two players in the top 100 in the world at dribbing... Of course doesn't mean too much with no end product. Some ex-Saints on there too
Saint86 Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 Wanyama is 73rd. That should stop people wasting their time clicking on that link I think Unless of course you want a good laugh? Cheers for sharing though Skint!
so22saint Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 Michael Antonio is in that list in the top 20. say no more
Batman Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 Michael Antonio is in that list in the top 20. say no more does he not run with the ball much?
Saint_clark Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 Ah, Redmond and Boufal. Wanyama is on that list purely because of his successful percentage - how many times did we see him keep possession of the ball through strength? I guess it's misleading for that reason, but he was/is very good at getting the ball and keeping it in CM under pressure.
VectisSaint Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 Redmond and Tadic at a guess? Nope, Redmond and Boufal. Apparently Tadic is not as good as Gaston. But what is a "dribble"? What is an attempted dribble and how are dribbles defined as successful or not. Seems an odd one to me. I mean I know what dribbling is, but how do you measure a dribble and its quality? Does it just mean beating one player, or multiple?
Convict Colony Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 Makes me want to buy Wylan Cyprien even more to cover/replace Davo
Loumate Posted 24 April, 2017 Posted 24 April, 2017 Where's Shane Long? Probably offside somewhere...

Cheers for sharing though Skint! Ha ha, what a joke. Redmond, Boufal, Tadic yes. I've also seen Bertrand get past one or two on occasion. That's about it.
