Whatever the final result, it's pleasing to see UKIP's support vanishing.

Gone to tories. They'll be back should it finish as the exit polls suggest. May has let UKIP voters down massively.

Trump, Corbyn, Brexit all show there is a lot of support there for a charismatic outsider who can develop and harness momentum and appeal to a sense of injustice (rightly or wrongly held).

Justine Greening, member of the Cabinet, surviving by the skin of her teeth - a majority of 10,000 whittled down to just 1500.

Battersea, however, looks like going to Labour (8% swing required).

Angus won by the Tories from SNP overturning a big majority. Ruth Davidson is infintely better than May.

Was about to post "Take a bow, Ruth Davidson". One of the best leaders in the country right now.

Tim Farron hanging on, ahead by just 400 votes. Recount there but looks like he'll just scrape it.

Shiete , I bet Mr Fishfinger has spilt the anti Timmy vote

Well I didn't see that coming and no mistake. At 9:58 I wrote down 74 and said to the missus there's your majority (she's a Tory).

For the first time ever I could be wrong about something.

Still think the Tories will scrape it although the SNP looks too low.

Maidstone is in Kent
