adrian lord Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Tadic has been dire today. I would've expected Boufal to come on for him but that isn't going to happen now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Ffs Tadic, steady it, turn and ****ing shoot. Stupid flick in that spot.
Heisenberg Posted 15 April, 2017 Author Posted 15 April, 2017 Tadic has been dire today. Could say same about Gabbi. Sitting so deep and playing 8 at the back doesn't really play to Tadics strengths
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Tadic has been dire for most of the season. Fixed.
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Stephens has played well against Aguero to be fair.
trousers Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 At least if it stays this way, Glasgow gets to remind us again how we haven't beaten one of the top 6 yet. For that we should be grateful.
mrfahaji Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 It's not easy to have a storming game when you hardly ever get the ball, and when you do it's normally following a clearance when you have few players in support.

trousers Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Ooh look My forward to that. Maybe a few stats thrown in too. How did Everton get on today? I think they may have won and gone up to 5th (having played 3 games more than Utd and Arsenal)? But not entirely sure.
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 I think they may have won and gone up to 5th (having played 3 games more than Utd and Arsenal)? But not entirely sure. Sweet, we can now get 4th!!
shurlock Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Davis playing the deepest of midfielders - working better than Hoj there
Saint_clark Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 **** sake Boufal, stop trying to beat your man again after already beating him. 2-0, game over.
obelisk Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Gave it away in midfield yet again and it's all over.

trousers Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 0-3 Time to handover the forum to the doom mongers for 48 hours.
Batman Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 ah well. Game over hope we score, everyone else does against Bravo FFS
Mr X Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 They have better players than us. no s h i t sherlock
mrfahaji Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Unfortunate that Sane was the other player breaking, as Cedric actually had the pace to get back, but obviously couldn't cover both. FFS, 3.
Heisenberg Posted 15 April, 2017 Author Posted 15 April, 2017 Could easily be 3 or 4 now Ffs there's no. 3
St Marco Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 To be fair they are a class team. No shame in losing to these guys. But our defence needs to do much better.
Batman Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 how can Stephens be beaten in the air like that? very poor that one
shurlock Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Could easily be 3 or 4 now Ffs there's no. 3 7.3/10
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Puel still not getting through Boufal's thick head. In this league if you beat a man, you swing in a cross, you don't try to beat him again. Ffs. This ain't the French League with all the time amd space. I fear he'll never get it. Every time he comes on he tries the same flicks, the same dallying on the ball. If he can't adapt then we should get rid.
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Shane Long looks livid and had angry words with the bench when subbed.
BotleySaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 how can Stephens be beaten in the air like that? very poor that one Just wasn't aware of Aguero positioning until it was too late
Saint_clark Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 how can Stephens be beaten in the air like that? very poor that one Like a coiled spring, Batman waits through an entire fantastic performance by Stephens to jump on one mistake.
ScepticalStan Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 They're simply way better than us. If youre happy with the likes of Long and Davis and JWP and Redmond and so on, then you'll have to be happy with this.
lloydie Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 how can Stephens be beaten in the air like that? very poor that one It was Cedric that should have won that. Didn't jump at all.

scally Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Why does Forster stand near post for a cross, he has the worste positional sense of any Saints goalkeeper I've seen in all my days watching football
trousers Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Got to say manager got it wrong today. The tactics (to frustrate City) worked in the first half. Who's to say they wouldn't have worked in the second half too? We'd all have taken 0-0 if the second half had panned out like the first. Edit: FWIW, I'm a bit disappointed we didn't go for it more rather than playing a containing game, but hey ho
niceandfriendly Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Our substitutions completely killed the game, as is often the way with this manager. Oh well, on to Chelsea. COYR
