OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 It does at least give a great example of why video technology wouldn't necessarily work... Needed a snickometer.
Saint_clark Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 It does at least give a great example of why video technology wouldn't necessarily work... Maybe this is the powers that be getting ready for vid technology - non-penalties being given because he still gets the man after the ball and it "feels" like a penalty.
shurlock Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 It does at least give a great example of why video technology wouldn't necessarily work... Why? As in other sports, if it isn't clear, you defer to the ref's original decision.
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Hoj appears to be really dim. He just tried to run the ball into 3 city players.
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Arrggh. Gotta do better than 4-5 feet wide JWP.
mrfahaji Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Ward-Prowse's ability from free kicks gets a mention from the commentator? TICK. JWP has a decent, but ultimately not good enough, shot from resulting free kick? TICK!
Heisenberg Posted 15 April, 2017 Author Posted 15 April, 2017 Our setup and play is frustrating City. They are starting to get annoyed and while our approach isn't pretty it might yet be effective. COYR
trousers Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 I agree with Glasgow... Great save Forster! Edit... I take it all back
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 ****s sake, Forster has to do better there.
Saint_clark Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 BT sports commentators just came in their pants.
Heisenberg Posted 15 April, 2017 Author Posted 15 April, 2017 Ffs... Came from. Stephens taking too long on the ball
Jimmy_D Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 I guess climbing on defenders is allowed now... Regardless Forster will be disappointed with that.
trousers Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Right then... Time to revert to game plan B. Let's go for it!
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 BT are creaming themselves for Navas to score.
Saint_clark Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 must be part of our game plan. No need to worry **** off you absolute ****
adrian lord Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 BT commentary is nauseating Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 BT commentary is nauseating Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk "Great header, watch him just BARGE him out of the way". Um, that's a foul.
Batman Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 **** off you absolute **** it was on the cards, we have been 2nd best by a long way in this game. only helmets like you say that is by design and part of some master plan they are a great side
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 must be part of our game plan. No need to worry You really are a colossal **** aren't you?
lloydie Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 When can we see that loanee keeper then? Forster might as well retire if this is the level of quality he brings every week?
Heisenberg Posted 15 April, 2017 Author Posted 15 April, 2017 Long is on. Can see us pushing the back line up now Inviting too much pressure as it stands
ScepticalStan Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 It does at least give a great example of why video technology wouldn't necessarily work... It wouldn't solve everything but it would certainly work for plenty of situations. At the very least it would give accountability. If the ref, having seen the video would have changed his mind then it certainly would have worked.
mrfahaji Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 "Great header, watch him just BARGE him out of the way". Um, that's a foul. Don't let facts get in the way of the agenda!

Edmonton Saint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Puels decision to withdraw Gabbadiani for Long greeted with boos, gotta agree somewhat, chasing goals in a game where chances are at a premium, but we take off our best finisher?
Bald Headed Jesus Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Haven't seen tadic do much Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

saint lard Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 On first viewing that corner looked like it went out of play before coming back in. **** poor generally from us. We miss Romeu desperately. Hójberg is awful. Tadic non existent. Forster is still an accident waiting to happen. I think they are on holiday already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Puel looking to the next game? - rests Gabbi - gives Long and Bouf some time to recover lost form
qwertyell Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Yoshida bullied in the air, Forster with the agility and reactions of a pensioner. We're not at the races at all.
mrfahaji Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 It wouldn't solve everything but it would certainly work for plenty of situations. At the very least it would give accountability. If the ref, having seen the video would have changed his mind then it certainly would have worked. True, but I can't help but feel that decision would have gone to video ref, and much like the people in the studio, they'd be jumping over themselves to give a penalty to City, whereas at the other end it would have been "inconclusive".
lloydie Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Those subs are confusing. Let's see how it goes I guess.
trousers Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Puels decision to withdraw Gabbadiani for Long greeted with boos, gotta agree somewhat, chasing goals in a game where chances are at a premium, but we take off our best finisher? Unless the manager knows more about Gabbi's fitness than the intellects in the crowd?
BotleySaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Don't understand the change from Puel. Can't see us winning the ball back now.
Heisenberg Posted 15 April, 2017 Author Posted 15 April, 2017 Gabbi off after 60 was probably pre agreed tbf Wouldn't expect a full 90 after his lay off
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 62 minutes in, No shots on target for us yet.
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 62 minutes in, No shots on target for us yet. And Bravo having conceded on the last 7 shots you'd think we'd have a pop and test his nerves,
James Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Looked like a foul for the goal from where I was sitting but no mention of anything in the commentary.
OttawaSaint Posted 15 April, 2017 Posted 15 April, 2017 Sane's had a great game considering that his d1ck has been in the commentators mouth for the last 67 minutes...
