Feel free to watch that angle again, no other explanation for the change in speed of the ball.

Have watched the replay. Sane nudged it left just as Forster reached for it, which made it look like Forster touched it from the other angles.

Edit: actually, just watched the angle from behind the goal and now I'm not so sure!

Nope, the touch from Forster was AFTER Sane nudged it wide. Clear as day on the angle from behind the goal.

Forster gets a tiny touch on it.

I'm seeing the touch too, but I'm not sure if that's the bias talking. There's definitely an angle where Forster's finger tips react to something (I.e. the ball)

Yep, agree now. The angle behind the goal is more revealing.

HT! take that after City's bright start.

Decent attacks and chances for both sides, but neither keeper tested

Got lucky with the penalty decision but we were due one.

It wasn't a penalty Glasgow so no luck involved, just a correct decision.

Man city bossing possession, good defending by us

we have had 2 good chances really and at times, very poor on the ball

the atmosphere sounds horrendous

Decent enough first half. Yes, City had most possession by far but that appears to be down to our game plan (sit back and hit them on the break) rather than City dominating against our will.

Superbly focused defending. Cedric incredibly impressive. US commentators first thought pen, then looked again and agreed Forster got touch. They had the ball, but we had the best chances. Redmond is such an exciting player. The combo w Gab and Tadic really promising. holding out for a spectacular second half team goal!

Puel has to change something at H/T. Tadic and Ward-Prowse luxury players today. Either move JWP more centrally and get him helping the midfield or replace him with Clasie. Cedric is all alone defensively down the right side. If we want to win the game rather than hang on for an unlikely scoreless draw, replace Tadic with Boufal. Davis, Cedric and Yoshida all good in an "away" style performance.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA bt admit that Forster touches the ball first but it should still be a pen because he brings him down after....what!!!!

Yes because apparently it "feels" like a pen according to the studio 'experts'......

Yeah. FF definitely pushes the ball for a corner. Forward then falls over his arm. No pen regardless of the opinion of the BT chaps.

Absolute nonsense from Poll - second phase my arse. He touched the ball - what is the keeper expected to do

We could dare a little more. City have everything to lose. We're not going down, we're not getting into Europe. Overall a pretty solid but somewhat boring performance so far.

5 points separates 9th (us) and 15th (AFCB) that's the difference of £14 million in merit money (2m per place) Still alot to play for

If Tadic and JWp are luxury players, then Boufal is a super luxury player.

Is Puel eligible for an 8th place finish bonus?
