magnet Posted 11 April, 2017 Share Posted 11 April, 2017 Silly thought probably but with Arsenal seemly imploding at the moment could be possibly catch them, they're on the same points as Everton (two games in hand but one against us)???

doddisalegend Posted 11 April, 2017 Share Posted 11 April, 2017 Yeah 8th is the best we can hope for and we need to beat some top 6 teams to do that as well. If we manage 8th while coping with Europa and getting to a cup final you'd have call that a successful season I'd say.
Shroppie Posted 11 April, 2017 Share Posted 11 April, 2017 Anyone know when the re-arranged games are likely to be announced / played? Really annoying that there's still no news. FA have to sort it out with BT/Sky and inconvenience to fans won't come into it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Pilchards Posted 11 April, 2017 Share Posted 11 April, 2017 I reckon we have a chance. Listened to Wenger this morning on talkSPORT and he said 'It's important we keep the gap between us and Saints to 10 points.'
tajjuk Posted 11 April, 2017 Share Posted 11 April, 2017 14 points in 8 games? lol, they are not that bad. We'd have to win all 8 (unlikely) and they would have to lose at least 3 and draw a couple. Plus we are home to Man City, away to Chelsea, away to Liverpool in our next 4 (currently scheduled) games, so that is likely 3 losses right there considering how those teams are playing. JRM Posted 11 April, 2017 Share Posted 11 April, 2017 We can still finish as high as 3rd #KeepTheFaith Man City game is a must win for our Champions League hopes on that basis the games against Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal are all 6 pointers. joking aside the last time Spurs finished above Arsenal was 1994/95 which funny enough is the same for us so we are due a season above them , possibly next year in their post-Wenger turbulence when they appoint Bruce Rioch as his successor. eurosaint Posted 12 April, 2017 Share Posted 12 April, 2017 The word on the street is that Puel will replace Wenger and that Arsene (seeking a new challenge!) will come to us at a vastly reduced salary ! That would set the 'cat among the pigeons' on here, no doubt
