Zed Posted 20 April, 2017 Posted 20 April, 2017 In hindsight, even if Shaw had stayed fit, the £32m for him and £10m we spent on Bertrand was a cracking trade overall.
Chez Posted 20 April, 2017 Posted 20 April, 2017 Unfortunate a 'massive step up from Danny Fox' is not a compliment.... Danny Fox is without a shadow of a doubt the worse left back we have had in the post 60s era. can I just leave Stephen O'Halloran here? Thanks.
Suhari Posted 20 April, 2017 Posted 20 April, 2017 can I just leave Stephen O'Halloran here? Thanks. Lee Todd? Graham Potter?
S-Clarke Posted 20 April, 2017 Posted 20 April, 2017 can I just leave Stephen O'Halloran here? Thanks. Still think that was more of a PR signing, as he was going to play in the U21 game at St Mary's against Surman... Lots of potential to market the game just on that.
Window Cleaner Posted 20 April, 2017 Posted 20 April, 2017 It says that Manchester United isn't for everyone. Horrible club that ruins far more players than it improves.
Chez Posted 20 April, 2017 Posted 20 April, 2017 Lee Todd? Graham Potter? ...you've got the beginnings of the worst Saints five-a-side team ever there. Add in my friend Powell and maybe Ian Andrews in nets and you've got all bases covered.
Portugalsaint Posted 21 April, 2017 Posted 21 April, 2017 Have to agree with almost everyone on here. Mourinho has come over as a raving bully. He doesn't nurture and never has. Agents with all their greed pumping up young minds and filling them and their family with promises of a great future and money. Most players would rather have a game than sit in the bench or even worse behind the scenes. Bertrand is proof of this. Shaw, his family and advisors were foolish. Too much too soon. Time to man up and get out.
