Micky Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 We've played well, good patient football, created some decent chances and not really given them a sniff apart from the Forster mess up off the line. We've been the much better team but we've seen these sort of performances too often this season where we dominate possession don't take our chances then lose. Pretty much how I've seen it as well. If we play as well in the second half and show a little more composure in front of goal we should win this one. If we don't - we're always up for the old sucker punch.
Micky Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Tadic last effort hit the post. Yep - exactly - poor finishing again - missed the target. I love trolling.
saintwbu Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Has anyone started going back to saying we've become boring yet? Without realising that we were boring because we didn't have Gabbiadini, and now we will be boring again without him. It's not Puel. It's not the style of football. It's that we don't put the ball in the net, that makes the game pretty boring, funnily enough.
Heisenberg Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Jay looks hungry. Think there is still a decent player there. Just hasnt been given a fair chance this season IMHO. 650 minutes total in the premier league so far (equivalent of 7 games) Been our best player today so far.
saintsmike25 Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Performance wise, other than some shaky moments by Forster we have looked very good. Tadic is trying to impress visiting scouts and Redmond is getting better all the time, I'd like to see Bertrand do a few more overlaps as he could be key to us breaking down Bournemouth. Jay Rod has been physical but he's still a bit off the pace, I'd like to see Long and Boufal at some point, but Bournemouth aren't a bad side and are trying to catch us out by lumping set pieces down Forster's throat, and as we know Forster is our best chance of conceding...
Fan The Flames Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Well I thought we played well in the first half and if we continue we will canter to a win. You lot really area bunch of *****s.
striker Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Agreed, I would like to see Long and Boufal in this half too.
OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Agreed, I would like to see Long and Boufal in this half too. Jeez, forgot about Boufal. Been a disappointing season from him. Hopefully a full preseason and he'll be one of our best players next season.
mrfahaji Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Well I thought we played well in the first half and if we continue we will canter to a win. You lot really area bunch of *****s. Agree we played well but we're not cantering to a win against anyone all the time we can't score...!
kermitsaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Painful to watch so far . Only Romeu has stood out so far as being useful . Business as usual for Puel . Without Gabbi we are a nothing side Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Not much going on. It's a bit like an attack vs defence training exercise.
Jonnyboy Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Painful to watch so far . Only Romeu has stood out so far as being useful . Business as usual for Puel . Without Gabbi we are a nothing side Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk Thanks muppetsaint
Heisenberg Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Jay has looked our biggest threat. Need to get him on the ball more.
OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Sweepstake on the minute of the Bournemouth winner? I'll take 81.
BotleySaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Back to the way we were before Gabiaddini Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
BotleySaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Dominate and play well but not able to score. Time to mix it up. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
Heisenberg Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Jay has looked our biggest threat. Need to get him on the ball more. Lol or take him off
BotleySaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 JWP off Boufal on Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
Pass the Dutchie Posted 1 April, 2017 Author Posted 1 April, 2017 Tadic staying on. Maybe his little rant to the press helped after all?
OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 JWP awful attempt He could have quite literally passed that into the corner and decided to curl it away from the goal. Terrible.
verlaine1979 Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Tadic, Boufal & Redmond on the pitch at the same time - is that a first?
Plastic Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Jrod grumbling on the sidelines, can't really blame him.
Jonnyboy Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 What happened to all the refs earlier in the season giving penalties for tugging off players in the area?
sfc1976 Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Tadic and JWP are both commentators players. They love to bang on about their top delivery off the back of the 5 games they watch. Actually both are pretty dump.
Plastic Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Redmond is a changed player, full of skill and tricks now.
OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Jrod grumbling on the sidelines, can't really blame him. He could try staying onside and finding the net. Only got himself to blame. Stroppy ***** that he is.
nta786 Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Just can't finish. Better second half atm bar the Afobe chance
Plastic Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Wilshere coming on. Should lead to a decent bit of injury time.
OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Another good chance goes begging. We'd be out of sight if we had anyone with an ounce of composure in front of goal.
5string Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 What happened to all the refs earlier in the season giving penalties for tugging off players in the area? Is that mentioned in the laws of the game? Goodness! How times change. Would it count as violent conduct... or offering unfair assistance?!
Heisenberg Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 He could try staying onside and finding the net. Only got himself to blame. Stroppy ***** that he is. Best player on the pitch today... By long way. You'd prefer players that are happy to be substituted? Odd
OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2017 Posted 1 April, 2017 Tight angle for Long Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk It really wasn't. Pros should be taking those chances all day long.
