Lastman73 Posted 9 March, 2017 Share Posted 9 March, 2017 Evidently the premier league has won a court battle to stop matches being streamed on Kodi !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

derry Posted 9 March, 2017 Share Posted 9 March, 2017 Kodi is a US site as far as I know. SN/SM take their subscription payments through a Turkish company.
Lastman73 Posted 10 March, 2017 Author Share Posted 10 March, 2017 Kodi is a US site as far as I know. SN/SM take their subscription payments through a Turkish company. So does that mean that the premier league are powerless to stop people watching via SN and the like through Kodi? St Chalet Posted 10 March, 2017 Share Posted 10 March, 2017 Kodi one of many bits of software that can stream sports. It seems to be the platform of choice hence its mention in the article. Kodi will not be banned, merely the content that it surfaces as I understand it.
St Chalet Posted 10 March, 2017 Share Posted 10 March, 2017 As it stands anyone who can turn on a smart device can watch easily enough. My 70 year old mother watches the 3pm games via links on Facebook ffs! The streams will always be available as long as VPNs are.
Guy Posted 10 March, 2017 Share Posted 10 March, 2017 The authorities only have themselves to blame. That we can't legally watch every Premier League game in the UK is a disgrace, and I don't see in who's interest it is that we can't, other than 'tradition'. The reason is so that people go out and watch lower league football on Saturday.
