Marc Muniasa - Stoke

Was talking to a guy at Stoke today (one of the academy coaches) who was telling me that we had agreed a deal with Stoke for Marc Muniesa on the last day of the January window.

He was on his way to Southampton, but the deal was pulled at the last minute.

Apparently this deal was part of a chain of transfers that never materialised so didn't happen.

Interesting one for me. Not sure he is that great a central defender, but can play there & at full back.

He also said that Martins Indi is all done & he will sign for them at the end of the season. Pity that, as he is the kind of player who would work brilliantly with VVD.

Just to be clear, I don't claim to be an in the know, I cant prove any of this & there is a chance its all BS...........................................
