Whitey Grandad Posted 3 March, 2017 Share Posted 3 March, 2017 We could be top of the league and you'd still find an excuse to bash him Nah, we'd wait until the next season and then sack him halfway through
eurosaint Posted 3 March, 2017 Share Posted 3 March, 2017 Matches as follows : Aug 2 Sep 6 Oct 6 Nov 6 Dec 7 Jan 9 Feb 3 Mar 2 Apr 6 May 3 TBA 2 So 16 games in Dec/Jan v 5 games in Feb/Mar ! Surely it is not beyond the wit of man to arrange this better ? I think that Puel has a valid point to make !
nta786 Posted 3 March, 2017 Share Posted 3 March, 2017 I can't be bothered to look either but I know Palace, Sunderland, Middlesbro, Watford, Man U, Spurs, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea will probably all play only two league games this month. There might be others but as I said I am not looking them up. At MOST we will have 1 extra league game to play than any of them them in April as they will all have at least one fixture to catch up on. Man Utd will have the same number of league games to play plus two Europa league games plus an FA Cup quarter final. NUMBER OF GAMES FOR TEAMS IN MARCH: Arsenal: 4 AFC Bournemouth: 3 Burnley: 3 Chelsea: 3 Palace: 2 Everton: 3 Hull: 3 Leicester: 3 Liverpool: 3 Man City: 5 Man United: 5 M'boro: 3 SAINTS: 2 Stoke City: 3 Sunderland: 2 Swansea: 3 Tottenham: 3 Watford: 2 West Brom: 3 West Ham United: 3 right can't believe i spent 10 minutes doing this- but Watford, Palace and Sunderland have just 2 games this month like us- then I also realised there is an international break. regardless, can see why puel has made the comments he has, seems cr*p that after the nov/dec fixture list it is so light right now. That's not league games though is it? For example One of Boro's is in the cup so as I said, if we were in the cups we would have more games? Saint-Fred Posted 3 March, 2017 Share Posted 3 March, 2017 April isn't an issue at present either. The only reason it is six games is we play on the first of the month and very nearly the last day of the month. At present we only have ONE mid week game scheduled!
