saintnick Posted 17 February, 2017 Share Posted 17 February, 2017 I don't do this post thing. I enjoy reading your views. But I need some help from some more tech savy people. I have booked mine and my 3 children's tickets to Wembley and would love to get them the white shirt. Where can I buy it please? If someone could post a link? I would be very greateful. doddisalegend Posted 17 February, 2017 Share Posted 17 February, 2017 You mean the 3rd kit? I'm pretty sure it isn't and won't be available though if anyone knows better my nipper would love one.
doddisalegend Posted 17 February, 2017 Share Posted 17 February, 2017 They are not for sale. That's what I thought I'm surprised the club didn't see at as a money maker reckon they would have sold a few.
saintnick Posted 17 February, 2017 Author Share Posted 17 February, 2017 Well I did wonder. I did try and assumed it was my inexperience of the web that left me looking. Very surprised they are not available!! Thank you
a1ex2001 Posted 17 February, 2017 Share Posted 17 February, 2017 I'm staggered it's not in the club shop as a cup final special surely a guaranteed money spinner? If we win and they don't make it available it will be ridiculous froma commercial perspective!
scotty Posted 17 February, 2017 Share Posted 17 February, 2017 You could get a regular one and bleach it?

whelk Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 You could get a regular one and bleach it? Or get some white masking tape and tape over the red stripes.

Shroppie Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 (edited) I'm considering the white with faint red stripes that was the only-once-worn away kit in the season of the nearly all red shirt. 2012-13 if I remember correctly. alehouseboys Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 I'm sure the club would have loved to have made a few bob selling this 'cup final' shirt but it was never intended for anything other than the one-off game at Bournemouth. It was the players choice to resurrect it for Wembley but there was never going to be enough time to mass produce it in and get it out on time. Anyways, if it's anything thing like the last time we played in the League Cup Final, 17th March 1979, it snowed for the week before and we'll all be wearing thick winter coats! ItchenRob Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 Quite a few different types of white Saints shirts in the not too distant past, eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SOUTHAMPTON-ENGLAND-SOTON-2002-2003-2004-AWAY-FOOTBALL-SHIRT-JERSEY-SAINTS-/162131219235?hash=item25bfc61323:g:zhYAAOSwyDxXgPfI UTS ! Morse Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 The Sash is Gash. At best it makes one look like a runner at a school sports day, at worse a gargoyle trying to be a beauty queen. If you want to wear a Saints Kit may I humbly suggest the red and white stripes as worn by the greats such as Mat Le Tissier, Ron Davies, Mick Channon, Martin Chivers etc etc and every Saint for the last 130 years. angelman Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 Failing the white or the sash, the club has it's retro range (which I never knew about until recently!!)....http://store.saintsfc.co.uk/Product/ProductList/41500

70's Mike Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 strange the club prides itself in its marketing but no white shirts, we all got hold of yellow shirts in 76 and 03 backward step

View From The Top Posted 18 February, 2017 Share Posted 18 February, 2017 UA couldn't turn them around from their SE Asia sweatshops in time. Still, allows the club to flog off their surplus home shirts.

This and this. The Foundation will likely auction some off like the 'Newcastle' yellows. Given this is the third time in five years back in the Prem we've had to resort to an un-purchasable 3rd kit I'd be surprised if we didn't produce one for sale next year.
