adrian lord Posted 19 February, 2017 Posted 19 February, 2017 The white strip is going to look sensational and our boys will win in it.
SaltashSaint Posted 19 February, 2017 Posted 19 February, 2017 So I've managed to secure an extra ticket for the final, meaning that I can keep a promise I made to my 12 year old lad before the semi final, BUT, the missus is saying I can't take him because: A: "you will be ****ed an hour up the road" & B: "he's got school in the morning and you will be back late". so....what the hell do I do? A: respect her wishes (she is technically right) or B: divorce the ***** and give my lad an amazing day of memories that he'll never forget? Answers on a postcard I'm taking my 8-year-old lad and there would be nothing or no-one stopping me. This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Make the most of it and grasp the opportunity with two hands.
John Boy Saint Posted 19 February, 2017 Posted 19 February, 2017 As Lee Beevers said after the win at Burnley, the Lincoln City pre match Motto is: "Sleep well, be prepared"
angelman Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Was just thinking about costs of players.... If we play... Forster - £10m Cedric - £5m Yoshi - £2.5m Stephens - £0.145m Bertrand - £10m Davis - £0.85m Romeu - £5m Tadic - £11m Boufal - £16m Redmond - £10m Gabiadinni - £15m Total = £85.5m vs £89m for Pogba.
trousers Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Weather forecast looking good for Sunday. Dry, sunny spells and temps in the mid-teens. Nice.
suewhistle Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Yes, but rain forecast the day before and after, so if the weather systems are slower or faster than anticipated we may get wet hurrying between hostelries..
Wallington Saint Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Anyone else still waiting for their tickets to arrive?....mild panic beginning to set in!
angelman Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Anyone else still waiting for their tickets to arrive?....mild panic beginning to set in! Was away last week, but mine arrived sometime between 10-17th.
oldsarum Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Anyone else still waiting for their tickets to arrive?....mild panic beginning to set in! yes still waiting for London Saints official allocation of tickets, most of which I then have to post on to members, hopefully they will arrive today or tomorrow
suewhistle Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Mine arrived Saturday, so I'd start to panic on Tuesday if..
fanimal Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Not many seem to have clocked we do not have a home game in March, next one is April 1st v Bournemouth! Random this season… Trophy parade…??
Nexstar Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Not many seem to have clocked we do not have a home game in March, next one is April 1st v Bournemouth! Random this season… Trophy parade…?? Well it depends when Arsenal and United at home get re-arranged for.
Lets B Avenue Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Not many seem to have clocked we do not have a home game in March, next one is April 1st v Bournemouth! Random this season… Trophy parade…?? I suspect the Arsenal home game, that was due to be played this Saturday, will be arranged for a midweek date soon. Arsenal will have lots of midweek dates free soon. Unless they manage to scrape a draw at Sutton tonight.
Shroppie Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 It's fine, Forster is taller so can just come and catch any crosses. This will be a new experience for him. Someone will have to explain the principle. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
bender Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Anyone else digging out their sash shirt for the first time in a while ? Also, best pubs/area for Saints fans to congregate before the tube journey to Wembley ?
Shroppie Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Not many seem to have clocked we do not have a home game in March, next one is April 1st v Bournemouth! Random this season… Trophy parade…?? Unless Sutton win tonight, then it's conceivable that the Arsenal game could be reorganised for 12th Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Saint Ian Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Zlatan is in great form sadly As is Gabbiadini
Wade Garrett Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 (edited) Nearly ripped my ticket up on Saturday, mistaking the envelope for junk mail! Edited 20 February, 2017 by Wade Garrett
Pamplemousse Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 I suspect the Arsenal home game, that was due to be played this Saturday, will be arranged for a midweek date soon. Arsenal will have lots of midweek dates free soon. Unless they manage to scrape a draw at Sutton tonight. I don't think they're allowed to schedule any top flight matches at the same time as Champions League matches.
Ulrich van Gobbel Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Rooney and Jones injured and may not be fit for 2nd Leg vs St Etienne Wednesday night apparently..
St.Patrik Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Please please please don´t let Zlatan score - if you think UK media writes much about the big teams Swedish media LOVES to write about Zlatan - so if Zlatan scores the winning goal it will be one extra paper in the paper just about how he saved the world again... Don´t get me wrong he´s a great player but the media here has made him bigger then any team he plays in....
saints1988 Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Rooney and Jones injured and may not be fit for 2nd Leg vs St Etienne Wednesday night apparently.. Both ****e, would rather they where playing to be honest
Gemmel Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 26th February at 18.50 - As the police try and move 35'000 people up Wembley Way in orderly fashion and as quickly as possible - The Stadium stewards have their own problems- moving another 35,000 out of stadium. Problem is these fans don't seem to have any intention of moving and keep singing songs about some bloke called Shane Long.
suewhistle Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 I agree about Jones but Rooney did put in a very good cross for ZI's goal in the early season match, and the media were suitably nauseating as described above.
saintwbu Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 That's my biggest hatred of United, the embarrassing coverage they get. If Pogba scores, he will have absolutely justified the £89million price tag . The excitement has really hit me this morning though, cannot wait!!
Wallington Saint Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Was away last week, but mine arrived sometime between 10-17th. Arrived this morning, mild panic over

70's Mike Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 I'm taking my 8-year-old lad and there would be nothing or no-one stopping me. This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Make the most of it and grasp the opportunity with two hands. took my youngest in 2003 , he was 8

Saint Billy Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Any groups drinking near St Pancras before heading to wembley?
The9 Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 Why on earth can we not buy this white kit? Amazingly short sighted of the club. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk There's no way they've chosen not to sell it. It'll be time taken to turn them around, but if we win I'm sure they'll flog em. I'm working on the principle that Under Armour would make about 90% of the profit so the club has decided not to order them.

Faz Posted 20 February, 2017 Posted 20 February, 2017 she'll forget it in a few weeks. he never will. She'll never forget.........
St.Patrik Posted 21 February, 2017 Posted 21 February, 2017 Wow some of you are not married right? To think a women will forget - they are like elephants and never forget - especially if you do something stupid : )
benjii Posted 21 February, 2017 Posted 21 February, 2017 Yeah, women are a ****ing pain in the ass. It's true.
angelman Posted 21 February, 2017 Posted 21 February, 2017 My Mrs is on side knowing that it doesn't happen everyday. I'm taking a blanket and pillow so the nipper can sleep on the way back. School know he is mad keen Saints and that he is going to have a late one, but so be it.
simo Posted 21 February, 2017 Posted 21 February, 2017 Sod the wife you can always get a new one , your son on the other hand may never forget the time his old man could have taken him to Wembley but never !

Answers on a postcard1 day of school vs a memory of a lifetime, no brainer. People take their kids out of school for 2 weeks for a holiday in Tenerife, half a day of school isn't going to mean your kid fails school and becomes a junkie...
Saint Billy Posted 21 February, 2017 Posted 21 February, 2017 (edited) Couldn't get tickets for seating within saints allocation but luckily my son and me got a pair of tickets for Club Wembley. Anyone done this?, is there a dress code, etc. Gutted not to be in the saints end but at least my son and me are going. Edited 21 February, 2017 by Saint Billy
