twopintsnilnil Posted 30 January, 2017 Share Posted 30 January, 2017 I've got two homes and one away purchase on my account for 16/17. Does anyone think it's worth buying a membership with a view to getting a final ticket? Cheers.
DuncanRG Posted 30 January, 2017 Share Posted 30 January, 2017 No, not at this stage. As it stands you need five home games for the membership to mean anything. If there are any tickets left after that, the club's said there will be another announcement. That could mean general sale or it could be another staggered run for members, at which point you might consider getting one. Chances are tickets will be all gone, though. You stand no chance of getting a ticket, however you will be investing £25 to the club you 'support'.
saintwbu Posted 30 January, 2017 Share Posted 30 January, 2017 Think i'll wait to see if we get to a cup final before getting one next year, knowing that I can just buy one when I decide I want a better chance at tickets

RoswellSaint Posted 30 January, 2017 Share Posted 30 January, 2017 No. The club told me that with two home and two away this season it was extremely unlikely that I would get a ticket.

You don't have any idea about how much support I have given the club in the last 40 years, or my current circumstances that lead me to ask the question of fellow fans. I'm sure you're well fixed for a ticket, and good luck to you.

Does anyone think it's worth buying a membership with a view to getting a final ticket? Cheers. In short no. The only way you'll get a ticket is through a mate who has a spare or via the second hand ticket market. Its likely members will need at least 6 qualifying home matches if not 7 to get a Wembley ticket. I'm basing that on us season ticket holders having virtually 100% take up which I think is around 24k.
