SalisburySaints Posted 24 January, 2017 Posted 24 January, 2017 Only because we didn't give them more. If they'd been given 5000 they would have sold them all. You say that but surely they were entitled to take the usual, bigger 'cup' allocation? therefore they decided not to?? Looks like Arsenal have taken their full entitlement for Saturday.

SalisburySaints Posted 24 January, 2017 Posted 24 January, 2017 For the league cup it's 10% of capicity, not the 15% it is for the fa cup . Did that change? Remember poortsmuff having the bigger allocation in the League Cup.
ericofarabia Posted 25 January, 2017 Posted 25 January, 2017 True. But.... we are taking more to Anfield that they brought to St Mary's OK then ..... they will have over 50000 home fans roaring them on compared to our 29000 Sorry make that 29000 fans and 21000 tourists!! Come on you Saints lets make this one of those Famed Memorable Cup Nights at Anfield .... for us not for them.
stevegrant Posted 25 January, 2017 Posted 25 January, 2017 Did that change? Remember poortsmuff having the bigger allocation in the League Cup. I think that, in hindsight, we probably just ballsed up on that one, to be honest.

This was the days before the bubble and the first game against them in a long, long time. Hampshire police might've recommended a larger allocation so there weren't pockets of skates hanging around the streets
