Gunnery Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Or it showed that Liverpool had a bad day. I admire your positivity but honestly it's been dire in the majority of games this season - the squad isn't as bad as some make out but Puel is underachieving with who he has at his disposal. Just like they head a bad day when we drew 0-0 at St Mary's, or lost 3-2 at St Marys last season? Or the 3-1 at St Marys 3 seasons ago? The 0-1 at Anfield?.....wow they always have a bad day v Saints.
James Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Or it showed that Liverpool had a bad day. I admire your positivity but honestly it's been dire in the majority of games this season - the squad isn't as bad as some make out but Puel is underachieving with who he has at his disposal. For every 'Liverpool shows we are a very good side' there is a counter argument of 'Crystal Palace shows we are a very bad side'. Unfortunately for Puel, we've had more dog awful performances than we have had good ones, hence why people are questioning him. It's frustrating as hell because, when we've played well this season we've looked very very good. I don't understand why it can't be replicated more frequently.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Blackmore thought it had gone it, JWP free kick. Alas it is still 0-0
Katalinic Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Just like they head a bad day when we drew 0-0 at St Mary's, or lost 3-2 at St Marys last season? Or the 3-1 at St Marys 3 seasons ago? The 0-1 at Anfield?.....wow they always have a bad day v Saints. You've missed the point.
Dark Munster Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Lots of excitement now. First 2 subs whose names begin with R replacing 2 players whose names also begin with R. Then that near miss.
Micky Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 From the BBC sport website: A commendable 13,517 have turned out at the 32,500-capacity St Mary's to watch this dross. Tickets only cost £12 for adults and a fiver for Under-16s, mind. Less than a family night out at your local spicy Portuguese chicken joint. I'd still be demanding a refund. Hamilton Saint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Lots of excitement now. First 2 subs whose names begin with R replacing 2 players whose names also begin with R. Then that near miss. ... and Murphy replaces Murphy. Apparently.
Greenridge Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Crowd: 13517 More of this might be the only thing that prompts the club to get their arses in to gear.
northam soul Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Sweepstake on what month we will score our next goal.
adrian lord Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 13 minutes to go until extra time. Gulp ! Steve Claridge just wants to get back to the Holiday Inn Express.
Raging Bull Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Sweepstake on what month we will score our next goal.
SaintRobbie Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Brilliant- someone should print this off and put it on Puels desk tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
benjii Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 It's a shame the FA Cup is so devalued. When Exactly did this happen, and why, really? Third round under the floodlights.... should be a highlight of the season but no one, me included, can be arsed.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Does help if the other team tries to play though. Norwich have literally offered nothing going forward.
Gunnery Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 You've missed the point.I don't believe I have, you reckon Liverpool had a bad day because we beat them....seems to happen a lot.
trousers Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 At least we've still got Tadic to bring on if it goes to penalties
Saint Claude Van Damme Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 You've made 27,380 posts on here in the last 10 years,I challenge you to make a list linking to 10 positive posts of your from those 27,380. I'm guessing you will struggle as pretty much everything you ever Say on here is negative. Don't you get bored of it? The last 7 and a half years have been a relative golden era for the club compared to most of its history. I don't post much and only really come on here to read so I have blocked all the boring attention seeking trolls. If everyone blocked them I assume they would just shrivel up and disappear. The only time I ever see their repetitive drivel is when I've not logged in or they are quoted by others.
Dark Munster Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Ok, time for both goalies to come off and replaced by attackers.

Third round under the floodlights.... should be a highlight of the season but no one, me included, can be arsed. It's because we have a poor manager and a club run by people who want to make the owner money on player sales and cruise along just in the Premier League. But it won't work - we are doing a Swansea. trousers Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Some decent pressure from Saints now... At last...
Saints foreva Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Some decent pressure from Saints now... At last... Only taken 80odd minutes, against a poor Championship side.
Dalek2003 Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Ok, time for both goalies to come off and replaced by attackers. Excellent. Should be a rule.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I really think what we are lacking is a striker and a "number 10" type player. All of midfielders are too similar.
ringwood Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 perhaps players realising that penalties means they need to shoot on target ! so best get this done now
tobes8 Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Moribund!!!!! So glad I decided to give this a miss tonight and worked instead ... a little less money lining liebhers pockets.
Turkish Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I can see us missing all five penalties. We'll probably pass them sideways or backwards.
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 **** me, we're dreadful. If we stay up this season I'll be amazed.
Katalinic Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I don't believe I have, you reckon Liverpool had a bad day because we beat them....seems to happen a lot. Specifically last week yes - the previous results you referenced, the 0-0 we were very very lucky to get the draw. The other games you referenced we deserved our wins but we had a far stronger and better managed team then.
tobes8 Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I really think what we are lacking is a striker and a "number 10" type player. All of midfielders are too similar. Add, a manager.......
Greenridge Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Does help if the other team tries to play though. Norwich have literally offered nothing going forward. If Puel walked up to you in the street and for no apparent reason punched you in the face you would claim it was your own fault for head butting his fist.
Dalek2003 Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Ahhhhhh.....Redmond should have put us all out of our misery.
adrian lord Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 92nd minute winner for Norwich incoming. Well, we would be spared the horror of extra time.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 If Puel walked up to you in the street and for no apparent reason punched you in the face you would claim it was your own fault for head butting his fist. Someone has to defend him from the mindless morons who think everything is his fault. He isn't blameless, but some of the stuff people are saying is utterly ridiculous.
Convict Colony Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 JWP and then Redmond with chances sums up our hopes of scoring. I ****ing give up, pile of ****
Batman Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Someone has to defend him from the mindless morons who think everything is his fault. He isn't blameless, but some of the stuff people are saying is utterly ridiculous. So, when we drop to 15th.then you will start to worry That is relegation battle zone
